I'm the same way. I can never use the Pokemon you trade for in game either, because I don't like the nicknames on them.

The only time I've done it was for a nuzlocke, since it's part of the "rules".

I ,one time, nicknamed all my Pokemon to there real life counter part. Lol.

Like Psyduck was just called Duck
Squirtle - Turtle
Pidgey - Bird
etc, lol.

Fired up my Fire Red save on my Advance SP. I'm debating on starting over again.

I'm also thinking about selling my PS Vita and getting a new DS for a modern Pokemon game.

The inner child in me is itching to rewatch some Pokemon episodes too. Wish Hulu or Netflix could hook me up. I don't have a decent laptop.

I can't remember. I think Rock Stick. lol. I know geodude was Rock and when he went to Golum I changed him to Bolder. I wasn't that creative back then. I remember naming geodude in my brothers game Hard Head and he just kept it.

Chase, If you have an iPhone, there's an app called Pokémon TV that lets you stream episodes from your phone. There's like 10 episodes on there for each region/season. I'm pretty sure they change every once in a while, so there's new stuff on there.
