I am VERY disapointed by the lack of techno (using the broad term for everything that makes it up) and it cost too much being $120 for the normal and $200 for the Renegade edition. It does however have Ice Ice Baby mixed with U Can't Touch This.

I tried this out the other day @ Best Buy.......it was neat, but not dropping this kind of money on a genre of music I'm not a fan of.

Yeah...when I'm just not into the DJ type stuff (have no clue about scratching, etc), just not something I drop a ton of cash on.

I'll be interested to see how the sales do, kind of a test for niche music games/peripherals...Will people pay this much? Are there enough DJ fans out there?

Didn't care about rock band or guitar hero but this is right up my alley
I stared making mixtapes in my basement years ago and eventually was a DJ in a club so I look forward to this!
Looking at the track listings also makes me happy, some real nice mixes I cant wait to hear!

I think the game can sell itself if people can see and play it. Activision should keep those demo units out through Christmas. They already did a nice job showing off a lot of the mixes with their youtube page..

I think this will be successful, but it won't be an immediate success and will build up over time. This is the type of game that will probably take a grass roots and word-of-mouth effort to be successful.

I think this will be successful, but it won't be an immediate success and will build up over time. This is the type of game that will probably take a grass roots and word-of-mouth effort to be successful.

Sort of like how the original Guitar Hero got popular, if I recall.

I played this at Best Buy, and it's fun, but I don't have money to get it.

What's the difference between the regular and Renegade version?

Renegade comes with a stand for the turntable,a carrying case,has metal parts,is wireless (not sure if the regular is wireless too) and comes with a double CD:
