Ah well I always have DJ Magic Mike close by when I am craving some scratching.

could this be a difficulty thing?

For anyone who gets this, "how is your setup?" I am contemplating the renegade just for the stand. Is it confortable playing while sitting?, can the controller work in your lap? are you using a table? etc.etc.....

I ended up buying it anyway because after trade-ins Tekken was a lot cheaper.

The Beck/Eminem one has been the best so far. "Oh so mentalllll...My name is slim shady...so why don'tcha kill me?"

I'm fine while sitting. The crossfader seems a bit on the loose side but a stand isn't gonna help that. Try to toss it back to the middle and it goes to the other track. The spikes and times it has to switch real fast are difficult because of that too. Though since you can't fail it's not that big of a deal but it keeps breaking combos.

I'm really on the fence with this one. It's either this or Forza3. I still have COD2 coming out next month.

My damn finger muscles hurt. Game is a blast. Got the Renegade version and I was standing w/ the stand for about an hour, then tried in on my lap. I like it better when standing, but my knees start to hurt, lol.

so it works a little like this. you pick a setlist and it contains like 4 or 5 mixes that you play back to back. you earn stars for each performance and they accumulate towards unlocking other sets/locations/djs/decks/accessories. so no, you don't fail, but depending on the number of stars you earn, you might as well fail anyway.

So its not like Guitar Hero where you can fail half way through the song and then you have to restart, its more like you get to finish the song no matter what but you can still end up putting up bad scores you'd want to go over later on? If that's the case that isn't too bad.

All that stuff you mentioned you can unlock, is there alot of it?

It looks like it takes a lot to unlock stuff but there's not a whole lotta stuff to unlock. It's not like GH or RB where you can create a person so there's not as much in terms of that stuff.

how is the freestyle mode? i wanna know if u can create your own mixes instead of the ones they give you?

and shame on them for not having my boy Biggie in the game.
"on hoping there is a PSN flash sale before Valentine's Day"
Man there are no flashers... now what are we going to do for vd
I'm sure there's plenty of prostitutes you could pay if you really want vd.
yea but will they take psn cards
Depends on what area of a hooker you would use to redeem them.

I don't like how they left out quick play. I'd also like the ability to play any song in the game right off instead of having to unlock them first. That stuff got annoying years ago.

It really is a fresh experience that will interest people who never got into guitar hero. I just finished playing with a friend who was one of those people.
