Mr. "[email protected]" is offering his services and his DJ Hero kit to rotate some tracks for your wedding party, using "'ACTIVISION DJ HERO and XBOX360' to mix blends and mash-ups of DANCE - CLASSIC ROCK - HIP HOP" - aka the usual **** you hear in the waiting lounge of a Jiffy Lube down in Fuquay.

The guy then quotes 21 songs off the DJ Hero tracklist. "Host must provide STANDARD TELEVISION SET and SPEAKERS!!" Thass right, bitches!!! No Hi-Def!!! We talkin' STANDARD. Also: "My setup is state of the art," even though you could tune a boom box to 107.5 out of Winston-Salem, Rock 92 from Asheboro or 102 Jamz ("It really, really does!") from Greensboro for the same effect.

His fee? Three hours for just $50 and the beef or chicken. But for $25 more, he'll close down the joint, be it Masonic lodge or Jaycee hut.

Picked up the regular edition because I just could not justify the $80 stand and cd I have no interest in. Very fun game and works suprisingly well with the controller sitting in your lap.

All I want is to try the game first, but I haven't seen anywhere in toronto that has a setup. it's strange how usually a place like futureshop is more likely to do this than a game-dedicated store. This is the only way I'll know if I want the game. There are certain things i'm suspect of that would be a deal-breaker for me.

DLC day is apprently friday. (No link,just reading around various forums.)

This week will be a David Guetta pack. Guess they are doing single tracks.

If you know any of his songs it'd probably be Love is Gone (especially if you live in Canada because it's the song in the ad for BPM TV),not in the pack of course,probably being saved for DJ Hero: Tiesto next March.

He's apprently the European DJ Hero ambassador like Jay-Z is over here.

Nice that they're already dropping track packs. I doubt it but will they be doing any album packs like Rock Band?

Doubtful. They don't even do them for GH anymore,there's only 2 for that. I know a different dev made this game but still,might just be an Activision money thing.

Guetta isn't coming until November,this week is 50 Cent vs. Queen and Gorillaz vs. Public Enemy. It's thursday,not friday. It also sounds like you can't buy individual songs out of a pack on 360 or PS3. He kinda avoided the question there but I guess that'll be found out in a couple of hours anyway. Also weekly DLC seems doubtful because of extra work.

October 29, DJ heroes on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 will be able to download two new mixes:

* "All Of Me" by 50 Cent featuring Mary J. Blige vs. "Radio Ga Ga" by Queen
* "DARE" by Gorillaz vs. "Can't Truss It" Performed by Public Enemy

IGN: What will the price be for the mixes?

Chris Lee, Commercial Director, FreeStyleGames:There's additional work in the creation process of the DJ Hero DLC– licensing multiple pieces of content and bringing in a professional DJ to mix the tracks– that brings the price to 300 Wii Points for the mixes individually; 480 Microsoft Points or $5.99 in the PlayStationStore for Extended Mix Pack 01. The David Guetta Mix Pack coming in November will be 300 Wii Points for the mixes individually; 640 Microsoft Points or $7.99 in the PlayStationStore.

IGN: Can they be downloaded individually or are they a pack?

Lee:While on Xbox Live and in the PlayStationStore the mixes will be available in Mix Packs, technical restrictions on the Wii restrict our options so that we can't offer the mixes bundled together.

IGN: How often can we expect to see DLC released for DJ Hero?

Lee:While we have yet to announce DLC past the David Guetta Mix Pack we will have additional content coming down the pipeline shortly. Amazingly fun guys. Its right up their with the feeling when first playing Gh2 and RB1 for the first time. I been playing on hard and its tough, but its so much fun.

One of the best things I tried out was unlocking some of the songs for the guitar rift. My cousin hopped on his GH guitar and he rocked it GH style while i was on the turntables.

Amazing tracks, a lot of awesome mixes. Can't say enough, i have to sleep now been playing it for a couple hours.

Hard and expert are pretty damn hard. I routinely play on expert level in RB, but it's taking me some time to step it up past medium in this game. But medium is fully playable and really fun, so you should definitely give it a shot. I tried hard level on one of the tougher mixes and failed miserably. Someday....

I'm more concerned with the actual controller. I've mimicked doing it to videos off youtube (yeah, lame, I know) and it just seems so awkward to me.

I've been meaning to head to a best buy and try it out just never got around to it.

Thanks, I may just take the plunge. If anything I may wait until Christmas and ask for it as a gift. B/w all the games out now, Assassin's Creed 2 and MW2 coming out soon... It's pretty stupid of me to keep buying all these games and not having the time to play them completely.

I'm doing this tonight when I get off work. I'm really interested in this game but, as you point out there are way to many good games coming out. I don't know how often I would end up playing this. But, I still want it. That is a sickness...
