Yup, I live in Massachussetts, United Kingdom! You can download the Euro version then choose to play in the North american Servers.

Controls are very different from KZ2. I will have to adjust.

Those that hated the controls in KZ2 will like this probably.

Messed around and got a triple double. Kills/Deaths/Assists

That's not good though.

Overall, I am liking the changes that were made. Far deeper, more responsive, more chaotic, and of course the melees are nasty.

The unlock points are a good addition. Also, if you go on a kill streak you get little boosts. More bullet damage, quicker reload times, etc.

Gamespot - 8.5

In some ways, Killzone 3 is a step forward. Set-piece battles will be drilled into your brain for some time after you experience them. There's more variety in both the environments and the action, and the game is better off for this diversity. On the other hand, the excruciating story's tendency to intrude just when the action intensifies has an adverse effect on the pacing. The competitive multiplayer isn't hampered by such infantile excess, focusing instead on what the shooter does best: delivering solid action in a visually dazzling context. Killzone 3 isn't the game it could have been, but when it comes to capturing the madness of larger-than-life planetside battles, few games do it better.

The Good

• Core shooting action is weighty and satisfying
• Campaign is filled with interesting set-piece battles
• Terrific maps make competitive play an absolute blast
• More environmental and gameplay variety than before
• Astonishing visuals.

The Bad

• The story is awful
• Co-op play is local only and is hampered by frame rate problems
• Not all changes to the online multiplayer are for the better.

Eurogamer - 8

Fans of Killzone 2 will love the improved multiplayer, but may find that the single-player side of things has lost a lot of its identity. It's always polished and breathlessly paced, but it no longer offers a distinct change of pace from the rest of the shooter herd. Killzone 3 is a powerful, impressive game that sets an imposing standard for Sony's 3D, Move-enabled future output; it's just a shame that in doing so, it's lost just a little of what made the series stand out in the first place.

IGN - 8.5

Along with its fun multiplayer, Killzone 3 is so enjoyable because it’s not just a shooter, it’s an experience. Guerilla has crafted scene after gorgeous scene that made me feel like you’re a part of a brutal, human war that is somehow fantastic in setting but also eerily reminiscent of the wars we see on TV. Combine this with the superb pacing and you have a campaign that’s totally fun despite its boring characters and uninspired story. This may not be the best game on the PS3, but it’s a fantastic option for shooter fans, and the type of title that non-PS3 owners are sure to envy.

And even though the game's overall single-player campaign wasn't as memorable or as consistent of an experience as I was expecting it to be, the game's robust multiplayer modes more than make up for those disappointments. It's definitely one of the better multiplayer games available on PlayStation 3 and easily one of the best-looking games available to console gamers today.

Joystiq - 3.5/5

The feature set of Killzone 3 is impressive: 3D support, PlayStation Move compatibility, split-screen offline co-op campaign, and offline multiplayer with bots, but no amount of 3D waggle can change the fact that the Killzone 3 campaign is a miserable experience. Killzone 3 certainly offers more bells and whistles than its predecessor -- it's just a shame they've been affixed to an inferior game.
