Apparently the Medic Gun range will be increased with the first patch. Also, I agree squad leader spawning needs to come back. Not only will it improve spawning, but it will help encourage teamwork.
I've started to warm up to the multiplayer after being disappointed in the closed beta, but I'm still not a huge fan of the dumbed down ballistics and Call of Duty levels of aim-assist. There's so much more spraying because of this and coupled with the low health, firefights have lost some their dynamism compared to KZ2.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

I think the time to respawn should be lengthened to help medics and to punish players for dying. You will encourage team play and 'force' players to play a bit more patiently.
Maybe my opinion of some things will change once i get better or once i play on multiple maps.
We got to stop babying players. If they want to play they need to be willing to learn..i dont want to play the same game on different discs, seriously.Comment

Agreed with above. So far I like killzone 2 multiplayer better. Things weren't dumbed down to help the COD crowd. I want more health back. Last night was fun playing with some of the guys. The only thing is we need more tacticians on the team. I think I was the only one trying to capture the spawn points an it just wasn't working. I would be sitting there getting it an someone would come an kill me. Since no one was helping me get it I just stopped trying. I switched to medic an went to work. We were getting destroyed because the other team had all the spawn points an were spawning near the objective.
The spawn grenades were so much better. Too me it was exciting when you make it through the battle an are able to place the spawn grenade in that great spot to turn the tide of battle into your teams favor. On the other side I would try my hardest not to ever let an enemy tactician get close to our objectives. It was exciting for me an frankly I miss it....I feel they made a ton of bad decisions with the multiplayer in killzone 3 but I will still have it day one because its still much more fun to me then Blackops.Comment

I will be a tactician tonight. Tried it a little in Botzone, to get the hang of it. I like the fact that the spawn area is hotly contested. You have to really fight to gain control of it.
I can see myself getting a lot of kills just in that area.Comment

Use the melee button. I think the attack style is based on the position of the enemy. Example, if you come up from behind them you will cut their throat. If you see them face to face I think the method is chosen randomly.
I might be wrong, but I think the health of the person you are attacking may prove to play a part as well. If they are hurt at the time of the melee you will just give them the traditional "pistol whip" melee.Comment

I was mad though when I managed to single-handily take over one of the Helghast spawn points and no one used it even though we were doing the capture the positions objective and we hand spawn points that should have allowed us to easily control the two not in the middle.
I may be on later, but I don't use a mic really at the moment.

I had to be a Tactician for the first times a couple days ago. Because no one on my team captured any of the spawn points. Taking over that middle spawn point was great because most of the time people spawn there they aren't thinking they will be shot so quickly. But if people are already there by the time you run up, it gets a little crazy in that area.

There is a patch now. I guess it just went live.

I believe the patch fixed issues with the leaderboard. The connection problems are still around, and worse than ever. I haven't seen a single person say they were able to connect today.
GG is well aware of the problem and are working on a solution. Until they announce something, I won't waste anymore time trying to connect.Comment
