Captain America and Thor Video Games Announced for 2011
Both games will be released along with their respective movies in 2011. I don't have much interest in Thor but the Captain could be fun. Marvel said before they want to only make good games and said the Wolverine game was something they liked (in another article).

Re: Captain America and Thor Video Games Announced for 2011
This review bashes Thor on the consoles but has praise for the DS.
"Thor: God of Thunder DS: You want the real redeeming factor of the Thor game that just came out? It's the portable version! The DS adventure is completely different. A side-scroller beat-em-up (that's a lot of hyphens!), the DS game is fun, easy to jump into, and feels more like Thor in about ten minutes than 10 hours of the console game. Your special attacks are strong and wipe out entire screens worth of enemies. The hammer throw is quick, fun, and responsive. Upgrading abilities is a matter of equipping runes, up to three at a time, to bump up your strength, add new attacks, and more. This is a simple game with tons of guest stars and nice execution. The production values aren't quite as high as some other DS games, but the text-based conversations featuring art by Mark Brooks are fun, with most characters based nicely off the actors from the film. If you're a fan of the side-scroller, you'll have a good time running, jumping, and slamming your hammer into the faces of bad guys in this one. Just watch out for the bosses, as the difficulty ramps up FAST when you meet those screen-tall baddies. "

Re: Captain America and Thor Video Games Announced for 2011
Thor is pretty hurting apparently (even the DS version) but I've heard good things about Cap.
This Thor game is kinda ok-ish and it's free:

Looking at the vids and dev walkthroughs that are online about Captain America, has it looking pretty good. You can tell they borrowed heavily from Batman Arkham Asylum, but that's not a bad thing!Comment

Captain America game is $37.49 for pre-order on Amazon (360 & PS3 version). I hope they put a demo out for this game before it drops.

For that price, I'll take a chance on it, figuring if it's awful, I could dump it the same week for 30ish anyway.
From what I read, it's basically an Arkham Asylum clone but using Captain America. Supposedly more polished than both Iron Man games and the Thor game. People at E3 seemed to like it.

I'm taking this review with a grain of salt, IGN UK - 5.0

If you want an open-world superhero adventure, full of kick-*** combat and endless discovery, there’s probably a better alternative on the way. But Captain America is passable, and the combat is surprisingly varied and well executed. But if you’re expecting the full-on cinematic experience, you’ll be disappointed. The game is commendable for the way in which it tries to do something different, attempting to create an open-world adventure, but ultimately the execution is lacklustre and unable to support its ambition.Comment
