I still prefer the layouts on MW2 maps in general...and especially am glad for the lack of tanks LOL. Oy...

I didn't play online, but from seeing from others playing I hate the map designs, they all look similar to COD4. Tanks are not a bad thing if they know how to implement it. Battlefield executes all vehicles perfectly.

I think a lot of my frustration with W@W stems from me being a mediocre COD player anyway. I freely admit I'm not that great, and that certainly has something to do with my opinion. Should have stated that earlier, so that's on me lol.

I found the tanks to be frustrating in W@W, largely because if you carry a bazooka, it took 3 rounds to blow a tank up, but you only carry two rounds.

I have Battlefield: BC on 360 but never played it online. Even the SP mode is tough for me lol.

The only thing that I miss from WaW is the zombie nazi's. That mode was a lot of fun. I haven't touched SpecOps mode since release day.

I like the fact you can play co-op campaign WAW and the Nazi Zombies.

Both games have good stories and gameplay.

So after about a week and a half of playing MW2 here are my thoughts on both.

It's apples and oranges so a side by side comparison doesn't really work here.

However, the depth of MW2 is 2nd to none. Perks, weapons, killstreaks etc...
But the maps feel stale and the same. Thankfully theres alot of them. Although the should rotate them better.

I like the slower pace of WAW and the feel of each map. They all had character to where MW2's maps are much too similar.

I also like the challenges in WAW much greater. There are more in MW2 sure, but in WAW I played every single type of game in order to complete the challenges for operations. In MW2 it's only TDM, FFA, Sabatoge, S&D. Nothing for Domination or Headquarters?

Also the game summary is better in WAW. I wanta know how many I killed with my attack chopper and I want to know who I killed the most/nemesis. Maybe they can patch this in?

All in all I like both but WAW probably won't see much playing time any longer. It was a fun ride though. MW2 is just too deep.

WAW was a terrible game. i really did not enjoy it that much probably becuase of the creators. the only thing i actualyl did enjoy was playing zombie mode. To compare this to MW2 is like comparing a ferrari to a honda, there is really nothing to be said. The maps are better, the guns are better, customization is wayyy better, and you actually have challenges worth doing to unlock more attachments and camo. a+ for MW2!!

I'm the minority, but it's because I find Nazi Zombies to be like crack. Online play is alright...but give me Zombies over that any day personally.

Now that the initial novelty of COD MW2 has worn off...I don't see how any elite COD player can make an argument that MW2 is better than MW1 or even WaW. IW has completely laid an egg and Treyarch has an unbelievable opportunity to become the better lead developer of the COD series. I have never seen a beloved series have the loyalty of a large amount followers shift to negative as I have with MW2.

Yeah, I agree man. I wish I could have this vote back. Shows how quick we are as gamers to overreact to novelty. I think MW2 is a good game, they just over did it with the killstreaks.
