Re: First Game You Beat?
I couldn't ever say for sure when it came to my Atari (far too young to remember), but our next system I believe was SNES. The first game I beat on that was TMNT: Turtles in Time.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: First Game You Beat?
Hmmm...This goes a little ways back. My first gaming was done on an old 8088 computer.
That game would have been Police Quest. Awesome, awesome game. Jessie Bains was a bad dude!
Console gaming...I think that would have been ET on the Atari 2600. Pretty sure that when you got him home the game ended, but I am not completely positive.
I skipped the whole Nintendo gaming, but I finished the original Sonic the Hedgehog on the Sega Genesis.
Games were too difficult to finish for the most part when I was growing up. There were a few out there, but like someone else mentioned, alot of those Atari 2600 games were unbeateabe or they just kept going on and on and on.
Anyone remember Omega Race or Sword of Fargoal for the Commodore 64? Those were great games. Omega Race kinda of reminds me of Geometry Wars a little bit.Comment
