(drumroll)....Mario Kart 64. I have logged seemingly millions of hours on that game, the game has tortured me many times, I've been red-shelled off a bridge on the last corner too many times. And yet, I keep coming back to that with old friends and new.
It doesn't have the shiny fancy features of your new games, but how many of those games even have lasting power? Over 10 years later, Mario Kart 64 is still my absolute favorite. Multiplayer, it's great, because you never get the same thing twice. Talk about replay value!
Anyone else agree? Also, what other olde tyme games do you guys still play? If I had to make a list of 10 video games to play for the rest of my life, I wouldn't be surprised if 8 or 9 of them were before the last two generations of consoles.
