Looks like there's going be a new True Crime game. No release date yet. All I could find was this:

I enjoyed the first two and am looking forward to a new one. I always liked the attention the True Crime games paid to variety in the hand to hand combat, something most open world games treat as an afterthought.

The game was announced at the VGAs, the title is just True Crime as of now.

I always thought True Crime sucked ***. This one is being made by a different developer, also making modnation racers, so hopefully the formula gets some fresh treatment.

I really hope it's not only full of english speaking characters though, being in Hong Kong.

Yeah but look at Dragon Age. Not the greatest graphics but Gameplay is some of the best I have played in a while. I would perfer if developers went towards the less great graphics/More-beter gameplay path.

There is no reason you can't have great gameplay and great graphics. But if you're not going to try to make good looking graphics, go for a more stylized art style instead of trying to make it look semi-realistic.

I understand where your coming from, there is no reason there shouldnt be both great graphics and great gameplay but it seems no one really does it.

I enjoyed True Crime 1.
I would've enjoyed True Crime 2 had it not been freezing up every 3-5 minutes and was buggy/glitchy mess. The 3-5 minute sections where it actually worked were pretty fun.

the first game got weird with the zombies and ghost dragons or whatever the hell..I didn't even finish it after that.

Naw he's right. Remember it had branching missions. I remember the ghost dragons....that sucked. Other than that i loved the game.

Never played the second 1 tho
