It was a hyperbole, but still.. lol.

I just feel like it's very arcade-like. I don't know why I'm having to defend that opinion to my grave.

I don't really think its "more" or "less" "arcade" than GTA. Personally, I feel like the vehicles in Sleeping Dogs feel better to drive. GTA has more variety over the collection of cars and car classes it has.

Saints Row 2 is arcade driving.

So no.. as far as video games goes, GTA V isn't that arcade-like to me.
I don't have Sleeping Dogs anymore, but could you can flip a car over 5-6 times without any noticeable damage (driving wise) or drive a car up the side of a mountain and roll down all the way down it and still land upright and keep going in it? Because you can do those things in GTA V.

The only comparison I can make to Crazy Taxi is things like hitting Parking Meters for cash. However, doing those things plus things like trying to beat your friends in longest wheelie, longest driving clean, etc. added an extra layer to the game and actually made driving fun for me. I found myself trying to beat my friends records on the way to almost every mission.

Agreed. GTA V and SD are about equal for me and both are miles ahead of GTA IV which probably had the worst driving of any Open World game I've played.

Still have this installed on my PS3 when it was up on PS Plus. Since the spring I have played through Red Dead and GTA IV and am (slowly) making my way through GTA V now. I'm thinking Sleeping Dogs will be up next.

              Re: Sleeping Dogs (PC/360/PS3)

I liked Sleeping Dogs better than both of those. I thought getting it for free from PS+ was a ridiculous deal. It's better than all the games "Games With Gold" from XBL are combined.

I turned it on this morning and ran around the world a bit. I'm thinking about starting another playthrough since I have the free time.

It's a very rewarding experience.. I would def. go with it next.

Game is available to download for free on 360 if you have a Gold Account.

So for those who missed out on playing this, you can't go wrong with a free download of this game.

The DLC is pretty good, too.

Was just about to post the same thing. First free game I've seen them offer that I just had to jump on.

On one hand I loved the game and would welcome it back into the library and any reason to increase the fanbase for this game is a plus, but on the other hand I just want next-gen games now.

I want It though. All the dlc. Hell yes.

I think I will sell my soul for October games.

I mean, it will look incredible that's for sure. If they have a photo-mode then its a foregone conclusion for me.

I will gladly play through that storyline again. One of my favorite games, point blank period.

Game is great, but I kind of wore it out the first time. I'm usually not too big on replaying open world games like this, so we'll see.
