I finally got to the end, and figured I could beat Malak with a few tries... I don't think I can beat the guy. I haven't tried an unbelievable amount of times, but if the guy drains power from all those jedi, I can't do it. Does he drain it from every single one of them?

Also, any help for beating him would be grand.

Check out page two of this thread. It took me 27 tries to beat the guy. I beat him again yesterday with a light side player. I'll post my stats tomorrow. It only took me 2 tries to beat Malaak yesterday. It has nothing to do with what I did against him. It has everything to do with how I built up my jedi for the final fight. Lots of "wisdom" and "force immunity."

Well I don't have force immunity actually.. I knew I would regret it when I first started battling Malak. I didn't give the biggest effort, but I only got to the 3rd jedi that he sucks power from.

I'm already 9 hours into the dark character, and am making sure I get all the necessary force powers.

Yeah this time around I knew what was coming at the end so I patterned my jedi to combat Malaak.

I think it only took me a little under 40 hours to complete the game the second time around. It was much easier as a Soldier/Counselor. It was fun exploring the light side of the game. For those of you who have not finished the game, I urge you to play it twice. Although the objectives are ultimately the same, the way you get to them are very different. (light/dark side) I did have fun playing the light side, but I have to say the dark side is a bit more fun.

I think it may be because I went through the light side first, but I don't like the dark yet as much as the light. I feel remorse for screwing my friends over (even though they're probably deserving) and killing/threatening people for no reason.

I agree. I played through on light side first, but I'm having a hard time on dark side. It's just not easy to screw over people that you just got through helping.

I'm probably going to play some other games for a while and come back to this one.
