The first clue to inFamous 2 was a tweet that leaked about a new voice actor for him. I'd say there is a 99% chance he gets a new voice too.

News coming in from the states suggests that the game takes place in a new city called New Marais, which is a fictional New Orleans.

Other details are as follows:

• Cole hasn’t aged either way, instead he is simply re-designed.
• Cole’s voiced by a new voice actor.
• Cole will be spending his time in the game becoming a “super-super hero” in order to be able to beat the beast, this will involve him will be ramping up his power from the last game.
• There are now real cut-scenes as well as the traditional comic strip narrative.
• You wont just jump up buildings but will construct ways to make it up buildings using objects.
• There will be some new powers outside of electricity but Cole will still be the electric super hero.
• Melee weapons feature.
• Zeke is more helpful.
• More people, cars and generally more happening in the game.

I do. It's way more fitting to his character; the young former bike messenger. The last game he was some gruff dude with the voice of a 50 yr old war veteren. It made no sense.

This younger reimagining makes a lot more sense in my opinion, and fits his character's past MUCH better. Plus, this was one of the main complaints about the last game, so I love seeing the developers listening to the community.

Me too because the rougher Cole seemed more realistic when walking the line of good and evil. This guy looks like a naive pretty boy rather than a guy that would blast someone off a building with lightning.

I hope they work the redesign into the story somehow. I really hate when games and shows change the main character's appearance drastically without any explanation for it or anything. Still though, sucker punch may just be trying to make Cole look more marketable.
