Just beat the game. Loved it.

I really enjoyed this game. The story was interesting and it seemed to have less annoying side quests compared to the first. Powering up areas was the only thing that I felt got too repetitive. I loved the city, especially Flood Town.

I fell in love with that ice jump R2 power. That made travel so much faster and funner. Then when I got the lightning tether I was in heaven. I felt like Spider Man swinging from buildings.

I was disappointed in the ending. The final boss wasn't that fun or challenging. I was hoping to have an **** battle with The Beast not just float around with no real chance of dieing spamming the R1. I also didn't like the fact that the ending pretty much rules out inFamous 3. Though the ending did fit well.

I'm a little confused about The Beast though. If John's really not trying to kill everybody, and just wants to heal those with the conduit gene of the plague, then wouldn't he of told that to Cole in the alternate timeline? Why would Kessler come back and take the course of actions that he did. Why wouldn't he just kill John?

I think this game improved on the fist one in just about every aspect. I'm only 10% done (how you already beat the game I have no idea, Antec) so I've only seen one of the fully new powers...but some of the upgrades and such I've come across so far are awesome.

Also, being able to have multiple type of "ammo" - for lack of a better term - for each of the attacks and powers is really cool as well. Adds a bit of strategy trying to decide which type is best for which situation.

From what I am reading on-line, takes about 20 hours to complete, including side missions.

No it's not, we just have some peeps with a lot of time on their hands. Lol. Besides, the story changes based on if you're good or bad, so it def warrants two playthroughs.

Is there a way to check your play-time that anyone knows about? I can't find it anywhere.

All I know is, I've played it off and on since it released and I'm only at 20% complete, with 6 of 29 dead drops, 60 of 305 Shards and 25 Powers/Upgrades. I'm on Mission 15, as well.

I definitely played the game a lot during my free time but nothing too crazy. It seemed to fly by.

I picked it up Tuesday morning and probably put about 5 hours in before the Red Sox game. I probably started playing at 2:30ish after work on Wednesday and stopped at 7 for the Red Sox/Bruins again. Same deal yesterday but the Sox were delayed and I was just finishing it as the rain delay was over at 10:30. So it took me about 17 hours to beat give or take.

I completed all the side quests and collected all 305 blast shards.

BTW if you go ice powers, go for the Freeze Rocket ASAP. I went for other upgrades first and regret it as it is awesome.

I think my only complaint about the game is that I do not enjoy the long *** power-up a section of map missions. I didn't like them too much in the first game and don't like them here...other than that really enjoyable.
