Such an awesome game. Just finished the good karma playthrough. Got all the shards, just finished taking all territories, and now just need to find 4 more dead drops. These could be a pain.

What an incredible ending. Definitely got a little choked up with Zeke carrying Cole, and all the other people helping out. Didn't expect Kuo to turn selfish on me at the end either. Can't wait to start an evil playthrough now, as it will be fun not worrying about who I hit, and what changes during the story.

Even though Cole dies, I'm sure there is still a way for there to be a third game... there always is.

Now to play through on Hard difficulty as bad cole

Just beat it last night, I agree, awesome sequel. Uncharted and inFamous are definitely the reasons to get a PS3 in my book.

Regarding the ending:

About the ending:

I took the lightning bolt to indicate he wasn't dead, not that it would be a resurrecting force, which would mean the RFI failed on some level (either Cole was too strong after absorbing all the cores, or the RFI's effects were only temporary, I prefer the latter explanation). So Cole woke up in the coffin and pulled the lightning from the storm like he did when getting the last core. That leaves us with the plague, Cole and possibly the Beast back for a third game.

They could also go with the evil ending for the third game, I almost feel I would prefer that direction. Have Cole be the bad guy, give us multiple main chars with different powers, multiple factions to side with (humans, Cole/conduits and the first suns or some other faction that is looking for a way to coexist). It would be a good way to give us more endings and make replays a bit more enjoyable and, frankly, I'm kind of tired of Cole and the electricity powers.

I hope that future games of infamous dive into different conduits. Them giving you the power of ice and fire was a great showing of the possibilities playing as other conduits instead of one note Cole. And I dont buy the good ending at all. They will find a way to dig themselves out of that one for the third game.

This game is freaking awesome the more and more I play. I'm really loving how they have upped the graphics to the next level. It just really looks so much better than the first game. The gameplay tweaks so far are a welcome change too. Just all around fun all with this game.

Im trying to play through the 1st one right now, but after about 4-5 hours I feel like I have done about 6 different missions.

It is just very tedious to me, and the story isn't exactly screaming "Finish me" to me.

I have just finished the 1st and started the 2nd. Gameplay wise the start of 2 feels a lot like 1. Story wise the payoff for 1 comes at the end. You could scrap playing 1 and pick right up with 2 but the quick summary of the story doesn't do it justice.

If you aren't hooked 4 or 5 hours in, I don't think you will. I was hooked almost immediately. Cole is starting fresh in the first one though so he doesn't have many powers, you get some more good ones as you progress through the game though that makes it fun. The side-missions in the first game do get a bit repetitive (like the bomb diffusing and the black water ones) but I found the story missions to be fun. Zalf is right though, the first game has a real good ending IMO.

I said it before I will say it again, inFamous rox! Can't wait to play inFamous2! Sure the graphics in number aren't the greatest but it is so much fun and it gives Assassins Creed a run for it's money with the movement and climbing and fun with your different powers. Maybe I enjoy so much cause it was free but I am so amped to buy number 2. Sorry didn't mean to bloviate about 1 so much.

Just picked up #2! Like the beginning and like how it picked up with some of my qualities, characteristics from #1. Oh and the game sure is pretty!

I have to say... I am actually really enjoying this game.

I don't think I even made it half way through the first one because it just wasn't very fun. But something about this one is different and it is pretty enjoyable this time around. I can't put my finger on the game-changer but its good enough that I've been playing an hour or two a day for the past week straight. Which is really saying something considering the other quality games in my playlist right now. Im playing it side by side with uncharted 1, assassins creed brotherhood, and arkham asylum and infamous 2 is really holding its own in terms of both storyline and mechanics.

This is what I needed to hear. I was indifferent on the first one. Most reviews said if you like the first you should get #2, so that didn't help me.
