I feel you.

When our contract with AT&T expires, we're switching to charter, which is about 17mbs opposed to what I'm getting now.

I' just set the update to download tonight.. so I won't have to wait around to play it.

Actually, you still might have to wait since the beta patch hits tomorrow

Also, check out the Stats Page that they just put up. It has some pretty cool stuff like pie chart for weapon usage and hit percentages for different areas of the body.

PSN was getting hit hard with wanna-be hacker attacks the past 2-3 days. Thus the issues.

Any other time it works fine. Patches, updates, etc.

Live went through some issues that crippled it for over a week a couple years ago too.

I can download the same demo etc.. from PSN and then from LIVE and PSN will take 2 to 3 times longer. Same network also ...
Been that way forever.

I put in the beta code and it took so long to get the thing to load the patch to 12% I just shut it off. Not that much time in the world, so I never got on.

Had a giant projector 150 inches on my wall too and what do ya know, didnt even get to play it

And I can do both the same speed. It is all with the ISP and how they communicate with the networks.

I get 2MB a second on each.

My PS3 downloads way slower than the 360. Plus, then there's an extra wait on PS3 for an install. I pretty much gave up downloading any large files on PS3.

hmm, I wasnt too into the beta and I wasnt sure if I was going to get SOCOM 4. Now that I see the single player stuff, I am more leaning toward getting it. Now my big dilema is getting just the game or the sharpshooter/move bundle!!

Just getting the game. Right now, I will admit there's and intensity missing...some skill-ish-ness missing..and the team aspect a bit weak at times....but I'll wait til I play more maps and more classic...and more retail.

Download took forever! Well I haven't been a big Socom player in the Past, but my opinion was It was alright. Not the greatest but it was pretty fun.

I'm getting this BECAUSE I already own the Sharp Shooter... KZ3 is a vlast with it, I'm sure Socom will be as well, and Resistance 3 will support it when it launches. If you've been wanting it anyway Tree, this is definitely you're bet option to do so.
