I would have to say Morrowind and Oblivion. Over the years I think I put in over 1000hrs in Morrowind. In Oblivion probably about the same. Mostly on the PC.

SinglePlayer - Oblivion (150 hours in 14 days exactly)
Multiplayer - Axis & Allies RTS (2400 games, roughly 2400 hours, followed by APF2K8 with 1500 games and 1500 hours)

Single player: This one's tough... Either Hardball 5, NBA Live 96, or Tie Fighter, all on PC. Command and Conquer/Red Alert might be in the running if we counted expansion packs. It'd be pretty interesting to see how much time I wasted as a child between all of those, lol.
Multiplayer: Clearly WoW... I quit a few years back, but probably 30 or 40 days. Non-MMO, either Starcraft or COD4.

I wonder what the record for most hours spent playing Wow in total is? People are like crack addicts for that game.

I would be willing to bet that the records for most play time in an MMO don't belong to WOW but Everquest. Thats what started it all. Wasn't called Evercrack for nothing.

Mass effect 1 i put in over 90 hours through 3 playthroughs. Mass effect 2 around 60 and still going.
I know i played a ton of APF2k8. I still play it too this day. Played 3 full seasons and abunch of games against my friends.

Yep, Everquest has been around since 1999. So the numbers are way higher then WoW. My buddy is still playing and he's closing in on 800 days. lol Though a nice chunk of it is spent afk selling items as a broker. When you AFK in everquest it doesnt kick you after 30 min or so.

single player : MLB 09 the show : had to accumulate at least 2 months with this game

Multiplayer : World of Warcraft : Total Day's played 160 days then i quit cuz i needed my life back

Halo 2 and Halo 3 combined is beyond guessing. My Halo 3 accounts have combined 4,000-5,000 games played. Not counting Halo 2 or custom games or games played as a guest or on friends accounts.

Oblivion is probably the longest single player.

Starcraft and Warcraft III online are probably number two and three in multiplayer hours.

Over a life time, it's easily FFVII. Had to have put in a couple of summers into that game.

Multiplayer wise...probably Planetside.

Street Fighter IV easily.

Have logged about 375 hours into it (230 on first play before i got a new ps3, then about 140+ on a diff ps3...now i'm about to get another ps3...losing all my hours FTL).

Remember that thing EA used to have that would track your time logged in on their sports games? I think it was around the time NCAA 04, MVP 04 and that year's sports games were out.

Anyway I'm glad they did away with that, I used to hate seeing how many hours I spent playing hahah.

I can't even begin to count how many hours I played GTA III, NFL 2k3, MVP 2004, NCAA 04. I wish I could go back to being in HS with tons of free time again.
