after watching vids, my interest in this game has dropped. The voice over is quite annoying and I'm not sure that I would get $50/$60 worth of enjoyment from this game.

Most likely will pass on release and wait to find it in the bargain bin somewhere down the line.

Gotta agree. I was hyped for this game, but that last video just turned me off from it. The voice acting is terrible and the game looks annoying for some reason, I can't put my finger on it.

Will try out the demo though, who knows.

Man, I still think it looks freakin' awesome. And I'm not gonna lie... I actually find the stupid meathead banter hilarious. It's obviously what they were going for, along with over the top cheesy acting, and they've absolutely accomplished that.

The dialogue wouldn't stop me from getting the game since it's clear what it's been since day one. I just worry about repetition more than anything. I'll still GameFly it at the very least.

over the past month I've been going back and forth on whether I was going to get this game or not. The demo comes out next week, and I'll see for sure then whether or not it's good. But if it's fun to play I think I'll go ahead and preorder the E.P.I.C. edition. It doesn't cost anything more and it gives you free access to the Gears of War 3 beta. I doubt Bulletstorm will have too much staying power with me, but the completely over-the-top action along with the GoW 3 beta will more than make it worth $60. Plus, I have a $15 gift card to Amazon anyway, might as well use it.

So the demo is short, very short. It's one section of a level, and the longest it took me to get through it was about 7 minutes. It does allow you to play it over and over again with going back to the main menu or worse, quitting out and having to restart the demo again, so that's nice.

Overall, I really enjoyed the demo and I can tell trying to practice the different skillshots and rack up points will give me a lot of playing time with this game. I can see how this game won't be for everybody and the lack of depth is a real concern, however this kind of takes games back to their old school days where you kept playing it over and over again to improve your score or try to get the high score. Also, it's a lot of fun. Using a train to run over enemies, using the flailgun, the leash, the kick, it all makes for a very fun experience when killing the bad guys. I'm looking forward to full release so I can see all the weapons instead of just the four in the demo.

Not a fan of this one at all. Nothing about this game screams $60 game. I don't know if I went into it with the wrong feeling about it, but didn't care for it all. Will look into it again when it hits the bargain bin. It feels like The Club in a way, but I liked The Club a lot more.

This game reminds me of a cheesey version of Dead Space. Just mindless cheesey over the top variety of ways to kill people. Well I can scratch this game off my list LOL.

I need substance......Definitely not worth $60. Looks like this game was made by Cliffy B's interns for their senior project.

18 years ago, I would have been all over it though LOL.

I liked it too. Like Painkiller it's so ridiculous and is just running with it. Single player, Echoes Mode (score attack single player sections), and Anarchy (horde-like but have to pull off cooperative skillshots to gain enough points to progress to the next wave) is plenty. I'm just waiting to hear just how deep does the leash and weapon upgrades go to offer new skillshots.

If I could pull off these skillshots faster and get a good time bonus I may be able to get 10K.
