So... I finished this last night.

Two things. The game was incredibly awesome and fun, but it was tooooo short.

I beat it in two days, which seriously I never do. That proves the two things that I stated above.

I'm with you. I beat it about an hour ago. While I didn't beat it in two days. I got in Tuesday and played at hour intervals (2 hours at the absolute most) and I'm already done with it.

The only thing I didn't like about the game was the few times a countdown clock would start and you had NO IDEA what direction you were supposed to head.

Just beat it. That was one fun ride, can't wait for the sequel. The replay value goes up a ton with the scoring system. Will play around with it for a few months till the Gears beta, then trade it in.

I beat it last night as well, and the singleplayer was a lot better than I thought it would've been. Now I'm working my way through Echoes mode, and if I can ever get a team together I'll play some Anarchy as well. I just don't think I can play Anarchy with randoms. Tried to last night and this guy literally leashed every enemy he could, even the team challenges. There really should be a requirement that you have to beat the campaign, or at least get halfway through it, before being able to play Anarchy mode.

I played through the story this weekend. Most fun I've had playing an FPS in some time.
I did not care much for the Echoes challenges or Anarchy online game.

For those that didn't get this and were waiting for a cheap price, Best Buy still has this on sale I think till tomorrow for $14.99 on both systems. I'm finally going to pick it up at that price.

                  Re: Bulletstorm (PS3/360)

Bulletstorm, one of 2011's more surprising critical successes, wasn't as big a hit at the register, with Epic Games boss Mike Capps telling GameSpot that "From a sales perspective it was good, but not amazing. I think EA was hoping we'd do better."

In terms of whether this means we'll see a sequel or not, Capps says "We thought a lot about a sequel, and had done some initial development on it, but we found a project that we thought was a better fit for People Can Fly. We haven't announced that yet, but we will be announcing it pretty soon."

"I'd love to go back [to Bulletstorm]", he adds. "I think there's more to do with Bulletstorm. Heck, it kind of ended wanting more. I'd love to see another project, but right now we don't have anything to talk about."

Which all sounds entirely sensible, until you get to his closing remarks about the PC version of the game, and how poorly it sold in relation to its console siblings.

"We made a PC version of Bulletstorm, and it didn't do very well on PC and I think a lot of that was due to piracy. It wasn't the best PC port ever, sure, but also piracy was a pretty big problem."

Um, no, it didn't do very well on PC because it was one of the worst PC "ports" in loving memory, its lack of even rudimentary video and system settings making it the least attractive proposition of the three versions.

Plus...ya know...people are less likey to buy a PC game when the game only lasts 4-6 hours since it can't be traded in. I also believe it was a full $60 game at release as it's published by EA who doesn't seem to believe in the $10 PC discount. Oh and there was no PC demo either. But yah,piracy...that was the problem. Not a crappy port,no demo and charging $60 for a 4-6 hour game when you can easily get a 40-60 hour game for $4-$6.

They really did a terrible job marketing this game. They focused way too much on the dude-bro-i-ness of it all as opposed to the actual cleverness of the writing and the combat systems.

Shame. Dick-tits aside, Bulletstorm brought creativity and fun to a genre that's becoming increasingly stale and rote.

People Can Fly is probably working on the Gears franchise now.

Kind of crazy about the 6 hours gameplay since I'm almost done with the game on PC and I have 11 hours in. I'm also playing at a higher difficulty level. I paid $5 when it was on sale on steam so the price was right.

Picked this up today for Xbox One (the full clip edition) and have been playing since around 6:30 or so. Such a fun game!

It is an incredibly smart dumb game.

The shooting mechanics were as deep as any game in 2010, and are still up there.

I can't see them making a sequel though.
