    Re: Little Big Planet 2

I've just got the game a few days ago and I've been having a blast. The first two days my gf and I spent going through the story mode. Although, she annoys the hell out of me at times. Always, changing her character and what not. Other than that I'm loving all the new stuff. The Grapple Gun and Cup Cake Guns were awesome.

Anyway, I finally got into some community levels last night. The Legend of Zelda one was short but, freaking amazing. It really brought me back to my childhood, as that is probably my favorite game of all time. I can't wait to see if more levels are made. Also, The Street Fighter Turbo was cool looking but, not really my cup of tea. I really enjoyed the Panda game too. I found about 4 or 5 of them then, got stuck. I ended up getting frustrated and giving up but, I'm definitely going to try it again later. Lastly, about 11pm last night I decided to play a quick game of Clock Work 2. My plan was to play for about 10-15 minutes and call it a night. Well an hour and about 25 games later I finally gave up. I wanted to break 1000 but, the most I could get was 650 :o Man, that game is addicting.

If you guys make or come across other cool levels let me know and I'll definitely give them a try!

Yeah, that little minigame is digital crack. As you can probably guess, it's a sequel from the first game with enhanced stuff like the actual bounce pads (rather than platforms rigged to make you bounce), powerups, and the whole frontend menu thing.

I like bouncing up the sides just so I can go flying to the other side of the clock, bounce off a pad over there and shoot upward, into the top pads. After that, all bets are off as to where you'll go flying - Sackboy pretty much becomes a pinball.

The game is way too easy to beat though, it's not really comparable to Mario at all. A classic platformer like Mario is about reflexes and hand eye coordination to beat progressively more difficult enemies, LBP is more of a ride than a game since there's very little challenge to most of the levels. I enjoyed the first one and am starting 2 now, but I can definitely see people wondering what exactly the point of it all is since beating the game is mostly just about how long you are willing to play it, not how skillful you are.

Isn't the point of the game to have fun? It's just a classic fun game. Its carefree and isn't very challenging. A very different pace to today's games.

My GF & mt Daughter finally got me to stop playing DCUO yesterday to play this little gem of a game. Man is it fun & addicting! We were laughing so damn much, we were cooperating most of the time trying to solve certain levels and pass them as well as collect all the damn bubbles, BUBBLES!

But even more fun is when we are trying to sabotage one another with our grapple! We were laughing so hard during certain instances my daughter even lost her breath a few times lol! Best multiplayer game I've ever played with my GF & daughter ever! I can't wait till later today and my son joins us, it is going to be absolute mayhem.

I rented it only (Blockbuster) but I can tell this is easily going to be a purchase for me. We watched a movie later on late last night and after the movie they kept telling me "More LBP2! More!" haha

Try acing all of the levels... then tell me how easy the game is. I must have retried that giant wheel level from LBP1 about 706,215 times before finally getting through it without dying.

I was thinking the eact same thing. Not trying to be smart or anything but its just funny.
Anyways yeah the point is to get to the next level and get as high a score etc.. as you can in each level.

He never said it was hard. And yeah it's very comparible in the style of "Beat the level and get to the next". And sorry but there are some good challenges in getting all items especially the Ace Level ones.

Yep... Exactly. ANyone can just zoom through each level but it does take some skill and patience to Ace the levels etc...

Thanks for reminding about that wheel. Now I'm going to be having nightmares again. It must have taken me 4 hours to ace that level.

That wheel was annoying, especially with four people messing up the screen size and stuff.

It's worse when reckless online players are wasting all of your lives.

It was just so damaging though because it was near the end of the level, so you had to complete the entire rest of the level before it to even get there.

I haven't started trying to ace all the levels yet, but I don't really think any of LBP2's levels will prove as difficult as that one was.
