Seems to be health. In arcade you get an even number for a perfect.

Morrigan & Chun-Li are probably the easiest to use for the air combos.

No wonder, the fighting pad isn't helping me at all. The diagonals barely work on this thing. I went into training and tested the diagonals . About 8/10 times they don't register correctly, even when I made sure to only press the diagonal. Looks like my fight pad is defective.

Finally got my hands on it. I must say its a really good game. Patiently waiting on DLC characters now. I'm sure they have at the least 5 more in the pipeline if not 10. Then we're talking.

Been messing around with Arthur a bit, but I'm kind of afraid of people thinking he's cheap. Golden Armor + X factor (even level 1) makes him a serious threat from the next zip code! Ryu's zoning ability on steroids.

Finally got my hands on it. I must say its a really good game. Patiently waiting on DLC characters now. I'm sure they have at the least 5 more in the pipeline if not 10. Then we're talking.

The first 2 are $5 each so if they've got 10 it'll be almost as much as the game itself.

I just found me a nice squad that I think I am going to use on a constant bases. played only 3 online matches with random people and Doom, Chris, and Thor is my main team. My goodness I'm digging Doctor Dooms play in this game, he is something serious.

I cannot tell a lie, I will gladly shell that **** out. Rush it. That WOULD be a little much though. The game itself is absolutely marvelous, but comparing it to MvsC2, there's more to be desired. Its cool though.

Same, no one puts a gun to anyone's head to buy the DLC.

Plus, it's not the first time the DLC has equaled the game price in the end.

Considering I paid $110 for MvC2 (PS2, DC, and XBLA versions), I have no problem dropping another $50 or so on DLC characters, if they are good that is.

I probably won't be able to resist the, "Ohhh! So and so looks so cool!" Just like I'll be hard pressed to pass up the alternate costumes though I Kay be able to wait till they group them all together.

Ugh, im getting beat to my combos lately!

Any tips? or do I just need to improve my speed?

I think I may have made a mistake buying this game. I can't even beat the CPU on Easy twice in a row, even after hitting practice mode for a good amount of time. It is a very good game, but I am beyond awful.

I did pick up the Street IV FightPad(they did not have the Marvel one) when I bought the game, but I am equally terrible with either the regular controller or Fightpad.

LOL! You sound like me. I chose not to get this game beause I am awful at MvC series. I like the traditional fighters like CvS or SSF4.

Just practice and watch vids on Youtube from top players.

Use them off of advanced guards? Other telegraphed blocked moves? Start with a light attack? Start with an over projectile jumping attack? Use more air combos instead?

Well I'm finished with the game but still have it for 2 more days. Just trying to see what neat and flashy stuff I can pull off now. 30 hit team combo with Dante,Iron Man and Ryu was the most visually pleasing so far,I know I can do better with Dante,Chun-Li and Morrigan but Iron Man is the Galactus killer. Uni-beam > Heralds,crouching H (rocket) > Galactus.

Finally going to pick this up. Still don't know which version to get. Sometimes I hate having both systems.
