Finally found a team that I can start learning. Wolverine/Super Skrull/Dr. Doom. Good times. Still trying to figure out combos and when/how to set them up and use them, then it'll be on to learning assists. Pretty tough transitioning from Street Fighter, but it's fun so far.

I'm loving my donte, Felicia, and zero team.

Only trouble is range for me however with Donte he has the teleport attack, Felicia has the run out of the map closer and zero can fly so that helps me close in on range users.

However zero is my weak link, I can use Donte and Felicia pretty well but I can seem to use any of zeros moves correctly.

Any tips?

Yeah zero is a unique character man but he's my favorite character in the game. I'm no tournament player but I have gotten pretty good with Zero.....

Zero has two fireballs but one is a charge and the other one isn't that fast so I try to avoid getting into fireball fights with people. The charge fireball can actually be used to extend air combos but they are very difficult to pull off because you're holding a button while pressing buttons to complete the combo.

Zero is very dangerous close range. His standing hard attack followed by forward+hard attack is worth six hits alone. One of the strategies I use to get in close is use an assist and then immediately use the shadow dash (have no clue if that is the real name of the move but its a backwards quarter circle and medium attack) to get in or get behind them. The best situation is to end up behind them but that all depends on where you're at when you pull off the move.

As far as Zero's hyper moves, one of the level 1s you will rarely use unless the opponent is on the ground because the build up for the move takes so long. His other level 1 is great because if you sub out while he is still in that phase, he will stay that way when he comes out for an assist. I love his level 3 and use it whenever I can. Link his level 3 move to any ground combo and it will take off loads of energy.

Like I said, I'm not expert but hopefully this helps man.

as much as i love this game i can't play it with a standard controller. I'll probably trade it in since gamestop got a deal going and the Show and DiRT 3 coming out eventually.
