Needless to say, Nuketown is one of my favorite maps so far. I quite enjoy the small map and close quarters. It's hectic, which I like. I hate wandering around a big map looking for all the action. I like being right there in the heart of the action.

Also, it reminds me of Fallout.

I gave in, bought it for my son Kev. I'll play it as well from time to time.

Finally got around to playing a couple of Wager Matches (Sticks & Stones), all I can say is it's, "Fun fun fun fun fun!!" Had a blast playing with some randoms, the crossbow is awesome to use but kinda hard to get a hit at any descent distance.
I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

Was playing nuke town earlier with kngrich and a couple others, we were playing domination and with the chopper gunner I got 18 kills because I could just shoot at the respawn point which is the backyard of the house, reminded me of mw2

I don't get the whole RC Car thing. Have those ever been actually used in a real war/battle? Seems kind of silly to me.

How is this one online? More tactical like COD 4 or is it the more john bay styled action action action of MW2?

Like someone said earlier - it's a mixutre of 'World @ War" and "Modern Warfare"...

...verrrry different than all the other games, but a GOOD different. MUCH more to do online and you are rewarded handsomly for your accomplishments.

World at War was my favorite, so this takes the cake for me.

I just had more worse stretch of spawn killing, it was on the cuban villa map, this guy had a chopper gunner and just hovered over the spawn spot and racked up 20 kills in a row of me and my teammates.

Verified, it has been used in Iraq and Afghan. And Israel Black Ops wing uses it a lot.

Okay...initial Wii impressions after getting it tonight:

                          1) Played 3 online matches. NO FRIEND CODES!!! Yes, I repeat, no friend codes. You do get a code, but there's a thing called 'Allies' that you press Button 1 and a list comes up (very much like XBox Live) and you can see your Allies, recently played, etc. I got done with a match on Summit, and just to test, checked my recently played list. Picked someone, sent and Ally Request, and BOOM, in my list, accepted, and didn't have to type one digit! Between this new (to Nintendo, at least) addition, plus Headbanger headset support (voice chat), finally starting to get up to par (or at least 2005).

                          2) Controls just like Modern Warfare Reflex, and the maps are about as detailed, maybe a little more so. Was a little laggy in spots, but I'm assuming the servers are just getting hammered.

                          3) Classic Controller support!! I prefer the IR point and shoot system (hence why I got it for my Wii as opposed to my 360), but if I want to go dual-analog, I can. Several button layouts, so it's all good there.

                          4) Yes, the graphics aren't as detailed, but this is probably the most feature-for-feature Wii Call of Duty game yet. I have enjoyed what Treyarch as done for Wii FPS, and am glad they aren't afraid to try to 'innovate' on the Wii platform (headset voice chat, Allies system, etc.)

If anyone as any questions specific to the Wii version, feel free to ask. I know there are only probably 2 or 3 of you that care about this, but that's fine. To each his own, I guess.

Just glad I can get in on the Black Ops action finally!

Currently, my favorite guns so far are the AK74u and the Famas.
My K/D right now is like 2.5 but it keeps fluctuating pretty drastically, so I'm guessing it takes awhile to update.

I haven't had any games where I was lag free which is unfortunate, and has anybody else felt any frame rate drops? I'm on PS3 and I've felt it on some of the bigger maps when I go outside of the buildings.

Did you guys find out about the arcade game thing?
Go to the main menu and repeatedly tap L2/R2 (LT/RT for xbox) and your guy will stand up, after doing that, go walk around and look for a computer and type in "doa" and click enter. Then you'll get to play zombies arcade style, plus, it got me a trophy.

And to play as JFK for the real zombie mode, I believe the code is 3ARC UNLOCK

The lag tonight is something else......most be more people playing it late tonight because of the holiday tomorrow and schools and what not being closed.
