You still have the M16, FAL, MP5K, SPAS, Ak47..I'm sure I'm missing others.

But a lot of the guns in Black Ops remind me a lot of guns from MW2. Likw the Enfeld reminds me a lot of the M4 and the Commando reminds me a lot of the SCAR.

This isn't like WAW where your using all old-school weapons. I do like the weapons in Black Ops more then in any other COD game.

Anyone else unlock and use all the sniper rifles? I have and can't figure out which one I like the best. Also still havent bought the variable zoom scope.

The AK74U is amazing!

I've never had a game where I have been more hot and cold than this one. It's either really frustrating or really enjoyable. Think I just need more time.

so far the bad i've noticed in this game are the following
1. spawns are so messed up in some of teh maps. Nuketown is the biggest example. I can spawn in one side of the map and half a second later see the enemy spawning right behind me. Very frustrating.

2. still too easy for knife kills. It should never be that easy especially when you are shooting them and they can knife you in the middle of taking bullets

3. still wish there was a way to use a perk to disable killcam (i know, hardcore has no kill cam)

4.i get that they wanted to create some more open maps to prevent camping, but it's a little annoying that pretty much everywhere you go always has about 4+ different ways an enemy can come from. It really makes the game more just run and gun rather than strategic. I'm still getting used to some of the maps thought so maybe its just me.

I haven't unlocked any of them and I never will. I don't snipe.

I was playing out of my mind last night using the AK74U. Usually I'm a pretty mediocre COD player, K/D hovering just a shade below 1.00. But last night I had ten straight games with a K/D over 1.5, with a couple of 22-6/19-4 type games thrown in there.

My setup was Lightweight, the perk where you can have two weapon attachments (mine were Grip and Double Tap), and the perk that shows all enemy explosives and equipment. Killstreaks were UAV, SAM Battery and Mortar Attack.

Grip + Double Tap on the AK74U = domination.

My overall K/D went way up to 1.19.

What does the grip do on the ak74u? Is it no recoil or something?

And you guys are good without the extended clip also? I still would want my scope instead of double tap, but the grip has me curious.

The grip enhances accuracy.

This. Much less recoil.

I like double tap because I hate losing the 50-50 close-quarters encounters. And with double tap, I rarely lose those. So I just constantly move around and mow people down. If I run out of ammo, I just pick up one of the 50 other guns you can find laying around from dead bodies during the match.

People shooting me before they come around corners.

People shooting me WAY after I've gone around a corner.

Getting shot by people who are clearly still sprinting or not even facing me.

10 foot commando lunges.

Putting a whole clip into someone and getting 3 hit markers.

Never knowing I'm getting shot until the last bullet hits me.

Getting shot within like 10 feet of my respawn because it loves to put me in the middle of the other team.

Anyone suggest I play the single player mode first before going into MP? I'll be heading home tonight to play this bad boy. (Damn you, college!!!!!)
