Am I missing something or can you no longer change rules/settings for split-screen multiplayer? My buds and I like to play 4-player hardcore FFA, but I can't find any way to change the settings for split-screen. It says when you pick the game mode: choose a mode or apply custom rules, but I can't see any way to change them.

They removed this feature, huge disappointment here too, as we used to have anywhere from 4 to 8 people here to have split-screen tournaments. We play COD3 most of the time now when everyone's here, since we can play 4 on 4 across our LAN.

Hacker Pro gives you the ability to sabotage enemy equipment and turrets, booby trap care packages and remain invisible to Motion Sensors.
I'm working on Hacker Pro too, I was having trouble with death by Claymore, so I decided to eliminate that. I'm currently working on the 25 kills by C4/Claymore and then I'll be Pro.

Any 360 folks having trouble keeping a group together when joining games in a party? It takes us multiple tries to get everyone in the room once we try and join a match. Any workarounds here?

Sometimes changing who starts the party can help.

                    Nuketown secret unlocked
                    That is awesome.

Nuketown is quite possibly my favorite level right now. No matter the game mode, when that map comes up it is played 3-4 times in a row.

I played CTF for like 4 hours straight. That one is easy to win if you use team-work, but if everybody is just running around for the other flag you're screwed. I guess this will replace S&D for now since those idiots just run around like its TDM.

And I agree with The C about sniping. Its frustrating because there really aren't that many good, long line of sights for snipers. You either have to camp and wait, or move around a lot and risk getting noticed and shot. That's really my only complaint with the maps is that none of them really lend themselves to be good sniping maps. With MW2, each map had a couple spots it seemed like. MW1 had some great sniping maps. I could go for a couple wide-open maps or wooded maps like Creek.

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops

agreed with the above, my biggest complaint is the fact that Sniping has basically been removed from the game. There is maybe ONE spot on each map where sniping makes sense. And hitting a guy in the heart with a sniper bullet doesn't do much damage. So between the lack of killing power and the lack of sniping locations, it's basically been removed as a legit aspect of the game. A bit of a downer for people that love to snipe.

                      No complaints other than that.

They are supposed to be addressing the lack of power in both sniper rifles and Assault rifles.

Still can't play with a party of 4 or larger, and even 3 and 2 sometimes it takes multiple tries to get into a lobby.

I seriously hope this is just a rumor. There is nothing wrong with the power of the weapons in this game, people are just used to the ridiculous ease of MW2. The balance in this game is excellent, I really hope they don't mess with it.

I will say that Sniper Rifles are extremely weak, it should not take 3 shots to kill someone with a sniper.

I will say that there is not a lot of sniping going on. Personally, I like that, I've never been a huge fan of sniping in COD games just because its always been pretty easy to do. I haven't really used the snipers that much, but I haven't really had any trouble getting through the snipers in gun game. So honestly, I can't really pass that much judgement on the sniper rifles in the game. The assault rifles are fine though. I almost exclusively use assault rifles, they are great.

I don't think lack of power is the problem with assault rifles either. Its ****ty connections. Their matchmaking and/or net code suck. Friday and Saturday my connections were good and I had no problem with any of the AR's I used. Now today the BS is back and I have to shoot people 7 or 8 times to kill them.

All the while some dude 75 yards away and still sprinting can manage to kill me when I pop in front of a doorway for half a second.

I think if all those youtube experts had play on my connection they'd probably kill themselves.
