Mostly been playing Hardcore TDM and some Domination. I have never been that great at COD games. But I seem to be having some better games with Black Ops.

My stats so far:

• 44-34 (best streak 3)
• 796 Kills/826 Deaths (0.96 ratio)
• 75 Assists
• 66 Headshots
• Best Gun: Galil (209 Kills)

I think I got the maps figured out now, have been doing much better my last few games. I still suck though.

I was hoping the website would have the same stats as WAW's ...if it does, I'm missing something.

right now I think I'm getting a 1.14 k/d with around 300 kills and deaths give or take 20 or so. I just played multiplayer for the first time a 2 days ago and only put a whole bunch of time in yesterday. Hoping back on after UFC ends.

Huge improvement over mw2 - It's way more about the killing with guns than the gimmicks. I noticed I'm also being killed by the right player styles, since I snipe a lot, ak74u is my biggest enemy which makes sense. Sniping isn't as useful as in cod4 or WAW (at least yet for me so I go about 60% of the time instead of the usual 85-90%) but one great thing also is I don't intimately know the maps, but still and holding my own.


Still don't like that you don't lead people, but it's still a great game and I'm having a lot of fun playing. I'm wondering if I'm annoying though because I chose 'talk through kinect microphone' and I see my little speaking thing lighting up just because of game noise.

Ok these respawns are just pitiful. Most of my bad games happen because someone is always behind me right after I die.

I was just about to ask if anyone else didn't like that map at all really.

I don't hate it, but I DO hate random TDM'ers voting for it on "previous" over and over again, so that no other maps are played. It's gotten to the point where as soon as I see votes piling up on it, I leave before the vote is even locked in.

It gets played so much because it's a sardine can and makes it easy for people to get kills. And on objective-based Nuketown games....oh, the horror.

It's also the only map I have spawn killing issues with - again, because it's too damn small.

Man, you guys would smoke me so bad if we played. Level 17, with like a .81 K/D ratio. I never have games like 25/7. At best, it's usually like 15/12 or somewhere around a 1:1 ratio. I also have a ton of games around 7/15. I'll admit, I am horrid at shooters, and am always way too tense playing. Whenever I go like a minute or more without seeing anyone, I get nervous that someones behind me, so I fire at anything that moves and give myself away.

Doesn't help that most games I get in are usually full of people around level 50 or 40. This is the most i've played any console shooter, which isn't saying much, as it's only been for a few hours total. Hopefully i'll get better, but either way, i'm having a blast, and could really care less what my K/D ratio is.

I really enjoy Nuketown. A lot of people play it like chickens with their heads cut off, so it makes maintaining an area or line of sight and getting kills pretty easy.

Yup. I was just coming here to rant about that!

Nevermind the 1,000+ bullets it takes to get a kill. Nevermind the overpowered, over-used RC car that gets you every time, and nevermind the poor hit detection. Just focus on the god awful respawns.

So disappointed with this games multiplayer

Well I heard they suppose to be releasing a patch eventually to fix the guns killing power, particularly the sniper rifles and assault guns. Too many people wrote in saying the sniper rifles are too weak and that guns in general takes way too many hits to kill a person.

Anyway my new favorite combination

M60 with ACOG scope
Python with ACOG scope

That python is bad arse. And people run in fear when they hear my M60 going off. That is like a huddled campers nightmare. I was in a room where these 3 guys were in party chat and they constantly stayed as a group. Everytime I see one turn the corner, I just dropped and held the trigger down because I knew the other 2 was coming around the corner too.

I got a headshot with the python with ACOG scope. Guy was like holy crap I just sniped by a revolver LOL.

Best kill I seen was this guy throw a sticky grenade at this camper who was hiding n the tower on firing range, it stuck to his back as he was trying to jump out the tower, he blew up in mid fall to the ground LOL.

Overall being how all the bullet power for these weapons is all messed up, who ever has the fastest shooting gun with the biggest clip gets the kill 97% of the time. That is why you see a whole lot of LMG's and SMG's used. Nobody uses the M-16, that burst with weak killing power makes that gun a no go. Because unless you get a head shot with it, you going to die in a straight up fire fight.

I feel the same about Nuke Town as I don't like to play it constantly. Also with the spawns a guy can basically spawn right near you or behind so your constantly turning around. It's fun in short doses but it can become boring after awhile.

Wow, was I awful in those matches we played today...think I'm gonna head to the theater to see what went wrong. Also, I'm watching a hockey game so I can't play right now.
