Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops

The story was certainly better than MW2 but there are still some gaps for me. Plus, it seemed like I was contanstly getting berated so over time that gets old. Regarding the numbers, I'm still a bit confused as to how it linked with the Russian ship...Maybe it's because I can barely understand what the guy asking the questions is saying.

After playing Metal Gear Solid for years, I guess it's hard IMO to get to their level in terms of solo play.
MGS has such a brilliant story line. I remember playing MGS4 over and over again.

I think Treyarch made the story a bit hard to understand for some, but good overall.

Lol, IMO I think the developers always were like "Lets make this game normal but then halfway through they do Acid and add Ninja people, superhumans, octupus guys, etc"

Tried to play them all but when the goofy **** like above happened then I just shut it off.

Also Aim Bots are in alot of games and its jackasses like them that ruin it. They need to start doing something like you cant play online if ya have a USB device in your system. Especially games like CoD where you dont need memory to play. And for people that say, "What about Map Packs?" You have a harddrive for a reason. All in all its rediculis how a great game can get ruined by people who suck so much and create a way so thier low skills become beter.....Its like steroids of Video Gaming.

          For future reference it's ridiculous.

As far as AIM bots I'm not sure what they can do. Have console games ever had anti cheating programs like punkbuster?

It seems like everybody's starting to settle down and figure out these maps. Been going off on some maps lately, its been great. I figure, though, once Christmas comes there will be a flood of new players/kids that will be running around like headless chickens.

Anyway, I unlocked Ghost Pro and Ninja Pro. Modern day ninja. I like that the perk challenges make you try the other game modes. The games themselves are starting to remind me of MW1, but something just doesn't have me addicted like MW1 or even MW2. I think its the leveling. It just doesn't seem to be a big concern to level up, just to get COD points.

Also, what is the point of prestiging unless you know you're going to get to level 11 or whatever? I noticed a lot of the Prestige specific unlocks don't unlock until 10 or so levels of Prestige. Kind of lame.

Yeah I don't like how a lot of the stuff you can unlock through prestige isn't until the later prestige levels. I'm staying at level 50 and I only care about COD points and completing challenges now.

Yeah, I don't see how Prestiging really makes a difference in this game compared to the others. At least in the others there was definite progression and leveling up to keep the game fresh, but since you essentially "buy" the guns, it just doesn't feel the same.

MW2 made prestiging fun and gave you an incentive in doing it. When you prestiged you unlocked prestige challenges. I also liked when you completed challenges you unlocked emblems and titles.

Im tired of the maps already. A few of them i like but i would rather have some night time maps, another short map but bigger then nuketown, maybe a pentagon map.

I still prefer the call of duty 4 campaign story. My favorite mission was gillie in the mist. I do not even remember any of the missions in black ops. The ending lacked that holy ish moment. Nothing really stood out to me.

I still vividly remember some matches in COD4. I still think those maps were some of the best.

But you still have to level up to unlock the ability to buy them

This is the exact same way I feel. I actually haven't even played the game at all this week. I've been playing 2K11, NHL 11 and Assassin's Creed II instead.

With MW2 I'd be hard pressed to not pop it in every day or every other day. Even though there were so many things wrong with that game, there was just something so right with it. I'm still trying to put my finger on it.

I think it might have been the maps. I mean I didn't even buy the map packs for MW2 and still played it constantly, whereas with Black Ops something just turns me off.

It's honestly pretty confusing, lol. I hope a map pack is on the way soon though.

They should give the people what they want and make a nuketown-only playlist. People LOVE that map (me too!).

I have a love/hate relationship with Nuketown. Love the fast pace crazy play, hate the terrible spawning system that allows spawn camping/spawning on top of each other.

Well ever since I hoped onto my new profile with only one friend I been having some great matches. I played 4 round of demolition today.

                                98-20
                                74-30
                                82-18
                                77-21

Was almost no lag an just felt good. Was using

                                Ghost
                                Slight of hand pro

I really wanted to get 100 kills but the match ended early since I was finally able to get our bomb to explode.
