...well, no kidding the CPU is doing the work for me when I call in my dogs, but I'm the one that picked up the 11 kills it took to get them, since the attack chopper I use at 7 doesn't count towards the killstreak, so those 11 straight kills are all on me.

Oh well. Some people like one game more than the other. Battlefield was definitely fun, but I get more enjoyment out of COD.


On an unrelated note, I finally hit the 5k kills last night which was cool. I have almost 1,800 with the Galil and over 1,600 with the Commando. I'm sure the other 2500 or so are all from the computer and killstreaks, though.

Also, is the AK74u better than the AK47? I see way more people with the smg ak than the assault rifle.

For some reason it tol me like thre straight matches I'd hit 2000 kills with an Assault rifle . thought that was kind of strange

Man, I'm loving the commando. Have an accuracy over 20% with it, over 1,600 kills, and have all-in-all been kicking *** with it.

I can't stand either AKs, though.

It's not better, just an earlier unlock.

I use both and love both. The 47 is on my stealth class with a silencer and the 74u is on my run-and-gun class with grip.

Depends on playstyles. 74U is better up close because of the faster movement speed, quicker ADS, and quicker fire rate especially if you throw rapid fire on it.

The 47 is better for people who take more midrange battles as its more accurate and does more damage at a range. I mainly stick with assault rifles since they are still usable with silencers on them as the silencer nerfs all SMG's.

I gave up on the commando,maybe I didn't give it enough time,but for some reason I couldn't get a grip on it. Same with the G-11,I cannot stand that gun.
As far as the 74u,as others have mentioned I use that gun mainly on maps like Nuketown,Summit and Array...close quarter maps. On the other maps (bigger) I'll switch between the Famas or Aug.

But..But...you were camping get to those 11 kills. Every COD player plays the same. Camp, get killstreaks, rack up kills, and then camp some more. You never see camping in other FPS games.

I'm a fan of the killstreaks. It adds another element to the game. I have no problem with people who aren't fans of killstreaks, but it's irritating to see sweeping generalizations of all COD players.

Just for fun tonight I began using the classified shotgun (can't think of the name) dual wield. I love using shotguns in this game.

I agree with you on the SMG usage, however I consider Array a fairly wide open map.. lot's of long sightlines in it.

Commando is like whatever to me. AK74u is still my go to gun and will probably stay that way.

Yeah Array is a pretty big map. Reminds me of Derailed in MW2.

It's what I do.

Just to check - of my 5357 kills:

1851 are with the Commando (2.10 K/D when using)
1796 are with the Galil (1.88 K/D when using)

460 are with killstreaks
410 are knife kills

Which leaves 840 by various guns/explosives.

The whole mini-debate got me interested in checking out whether or not I depended on killstreaks to get me kills and I'd say...nope.
