kng23, we have the same perks (but im all pro) and I use the regular ak.

I see everyone using the mini ak, though. Is it that much better?

I use it because it was my favorite gun in Tom Clancy Rainbow 6 Vegas 2. I like being more mobile so a sub machine gun works nice for me. I think everyone uses this gun because it delivers the most damage for a sub machine gun while keeping good mobility. I like using the regular AK at times, usually bigger maps but i always feel I can play better using the smaller AK for some reason. For example on my new profile my kdr with the starting sub machine gun i think its called the mp5 is 1.40 or something like that. So far with the mini AK its 2.25 lol. I'm less accurate with it tho but since it packs so much more punch it works out just fine.

I hate the regular AK, too sloppy to control. I usually stick to my silenced FAMAS, but when I get pissed I switch to my MPL. Tried the AK74u, but I just didn't like it as much. Not a bad gun though. I probably have my best K/D with the MPL. I have to check.

Also with the maps I agree. It's time for some new ones. Need another smaller type map, A couple bigger maps like Array, and another night time map.

I also llike MW1's campaign the most. Ghillie in the Mist was amazing, as was the AC130 mission. Don't remember what my favorite mission was in MW2. I loved Black Cats in WaW. And in this one

            FINALLY got Ghost Pro today.

This makes it really difficult as to whether or not I want to prestige. Since the gold gun camos require you to prestige 14 times, I'm really not interested in that. But, at the exact same time, I kinda would like the extra class slot.

If these Pro Perks weren't ridiculously tedious, I wouldn't mind prestiging, as I never thought I would get Ghost Pro.

For me, Nuketown is also a love / hate relationship. I love it for TDM. I hate it for any objective game whatsoever.

I feel like I have no lag due to having only one friend on that account lol. I know someone brought up the whole having no friends thing an imo it works.

Right, but the whole leveling process seems like it has been pushed to the back burner so to speak. In MW1 and MW2, I could tell you exactly what level I was on and how many XP I need to advance. Now, I'm lucky if I can get the level right. It just seems like they put the focus more so on getting points then strictly leveling up, especially since a lot of the early guns are actually some of the best guns.

I'm not going to prestige myself, nor my kid. I don't think we play enough to warrant it.

I know prestige keeps the game fresh, but I don't do it. I enjoy playing the game in general, and doing prestige would become repetitive to me. To me, it's just a new symbol. I know people probably look at a guy on high prestige, and think "Dam.. I'm going to get destroyed" but just because a guy/girl is a high prestige doesn't mean they are COD gods.

The rank and the symbol don't mean anything, it's how you play. Thats just my opinion.

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops

I think I'm finally hitting my stride with this game/series. Started with WaW, then CoD Reflex, then MW2, and now Black Ops, and now I finally feel confident in what I have to do in games and how best to play. My K/D ratio has been steadily climbing and it's now at about 1.38. Been consistently in the 2.5 to 3.0 range the past few days.

Last night, had one of my best stretches in recent memory (for me). I went 22 and 8 on Summit with probably 8-10 knife kills (3 in one room). I love Ninja + Ghost, and I'm trying desperately to get Ghost Pro (just need Sentry kill!).

I owned MW2 on the 360 and played it a ton at the start, but lost interest pretty quick and ended up trading it in not long after. Went back to Reflex on the Wii, and now I'm pretty much addicted to Black Ops. Always trying to find more time to play...even when I probably shouldn't be.

That reminds me does anyone ever change the color of the lens?
