No ridiculous killstreaks to worry about,no knife lunging,no lag,not getting constantly disconnected, destructible environments....not rewarding campers.

The lack of maps had me burnt on BC,but since the announcement of the new maps (Harvest day,Oasis and Heavy Metal) and with the Vietnam expansion coming soon,BC2 will seem like a new game.

I do agree though..there IS room for both games.
I do believe both games require a different mindset when playing though.

      Typical game of COD
      1-camp for killstreak
      2-get killstreak
3-let cpu get kills...rinse and repeat

Oh yea, throw in the ridiculous knife lunge, even though I'm shooting the guy in the face,he still manages to not get hit and proceed to knife me anyway...and you have the makings for one heck of a game..
You sound disgruntled man. You're a noob.

I don't think I brag about my games but when I have a great game or a really bad game I like to come here and talk about it. I know killstreaks help, but it works both ways. You have to deal with enemy killstreaks as well. The knifing sucks, but I still enjoy this game and it takes up a lot of my time.

Also, for what it's worth, killsteaks aren't as deadly as in MW2. There are a lot of things you can do to counter killstreaks, and it's tougher to get kills with your killstreaks.

        Disgruntled?? hardly.
While there are ways to counter killstreaks,it doesn't dismiss the fact that it's the cpu doing the "work" for you.
I'm sorry....but saying it's "tougher to get kills with killstreaks" is ridiculous...how hard is it to let a chopper gunner get the kills?
or sit in a spot and control the little car for a couple of cheap kills, and for those that unleash the dogs....how is that tough to get kills?

Like I said....bragging about a good game when the cpu is doing the work for the player, hardly equates to any kind of skill needed.

Why do you think so many camp in this game?...thats right killstreaks, this game rewards "cheap" so-called tactics to achieve a good score, and don't get me started on the "perks"...

You're grouping a part of the population together with all the players, which is just unfair and wrong and makes you look like a BF homer. There are plenty of players on this forum, myself included, that have GREAT games with the most basic 3-4-5 Killstreak setup that you can have. I have plenty of 25-3 games using Spy Plane, Counter Spy Plane, Care Package. Honestly if you let some sucky player get their Dogs (which isn't even half as good as a Chopper Gunner) from camping in a corner before you blow him out of the room first, you deserve to get killed 30 times by those Dogs. It really just looks like you are prying for stuff to complain about and group the good players like Beantown with the suck *** players that use RC Car with Hardline and if you're going to take that attitude then you should just stick to the BF2 thread.

Cowher, there's an entire playlist (Barebones? Can't remember the name) that strips away all killstreaks, perks, etc. Maybe give that a shot if you haven't already?

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops

Had a day off from work, so I spent pretty much the whole day in Ground War.. with a Strela as my secondary shooting down every Spy Plane, Attack Helicopter, Chopper that I could find, so I could try to get Ghost Pro.

I'm at 29/30 now... and the last 2 games no one on the other team called in a Spy Plane, Heli... maybe cause they were getting beat so bad but still what are the chances? Oh well I'll try to get it later tonight.

                Struck a nerve,huh?
So...since I have a different (read, unfavorable) outlook,I don't have the right to say my opinion on the game?? nice logic.

I have an attitude......why,because I spoke my mind? or is it because what I said is true about COD. I have EVERY right to speak of this game (good/bad) but apparently that's not allowed...right?

Also...you've admitted that the killstreaks help you obtain those "fantastic" numbers...good for you,all you did was prove my point even more.

                Spy plane-give enemy location..easy kills
care package-could be any number of things...again easy kills, unless it's an ammo drop.

Point is...without all these killstreaks,I can guarantee that these "fantastic" numbers would not be possible. If anybody gets offended, then so be it.

Point proven. You have an agenda and last time I checked the TOS, agenda posters aren't allowed on these forums. The only nerve you struck is the one that comes with talking nonsense out of your ***. There are ways to say you don't like a game without constantly bashing everything you can think of.

OMFG..... NOW I have an agenda??
I apologize if I spoke negatively about your precious game....Go ahead and report me then.
I would also guess that insulting a forum member isn't tolerated either (which you did)

Everything I said is true....that is FAR from having an "agenda", if you can't handle it,I would suggest you stick to reading positive posts about the game and carry on.
I would suggest you look up the word agenda....you will find what I posted is in no way agenda based.

                        Also....for the record.
There are things I do enjoy about the game, customization is cool, while some of the maps are getting boring already,I probably enjoy jungle, summit and array the most.....don't get me started on nuketown

I didn't know that only "favorable" posts were allowed anymore,I guess anything different or negative is now looked at as having an "agenda"...not meant towards you spencer.

Post your constructive criticism in a mature manner and move on. I did so a about 100 pages after I got the game...there's things which are greatly rewarding and things which are horribly frustrating/aggrivating but I've learned the game and gotten better. If you're griping, get better or get rid of it.

Had the best game every earlier today at nuketown. 28-8 with 2800 points. First time I've been #1 on a lobby. Although depending on what you consider camping, I might have been. I had a teammate sniping out of the window in the room with the bunk bed. I got in the corner behind the bunkbed and protected him so he could snipe. I got about 8 kills just by people running up to stab him not knowing I'm right behind him. I got the other 20 with killstreak rewards.

                                yep,gave this a try a little bit ago...and DAYUM,it can be difficult.
I did like it better than the "core" mode,as people weren't relying on their killstreaks and gun attachments.
Obviously one cat on my friends list didn't like it,as he was unable to use the aforementioned "attachments",but to me it really showed how capable/uncapable people were.

It was definitely different (for the better, imo) as nobody could rely on the cpu for help in gaining their kills, with the help of killstreaks.
