Call of Duty: Black Ops

I basically try to flank the enemy and sneak up from behind. Also, I like to maintain several areas of the map depending on what flags we have captured and stay moving between them. Also, I pick up a dropped gun for my pistol as soon as I can.

Had my best TDM match of my life on this game last night at Summit. 35-9, got to call in the Rolling Thunder 3 times (1 kill from being 4)

And yet, my team still lost even with me going 35-9. What a bunch of failures, lol.

I'm trying to get the hang of the G11 Low Power Scope. The scope sways a lot so it's tougher to line up shots with it is with the iron sights.

I own with the G11. I picked it up after getting to Level 44 and promptly went 25-3 in my first game with it.

Me and my friends went on a 25 game winning streak last night, we were in the zone. They've still yet to patch in the Hardline swaps, so we're rolling with 5 Ghosts and 1 Hardline, all using package drops/spy-planes, and our Hardline guy swaps the bad stuff out for us. One match on Summit I got 3 spy-planes and 4 care packages, turned the care packages into a Gun Ship, Rockets, Counter Spy-Plane and an SR-71.

Definitely not having the success with the SPAS some of you guys are having. Seems like it takes 2 shots to kill for me most of the time. Its easier for me to use a Galil or AK.

Yeah, same here. I had a good first game with it, but it hasn't been good since then really.

I did switch from the FAMAS to the Commando though. I like it better the second time around and will stick with it. Had a 22-4 game. I ran out of ammo with it at Summit during that game and managed to hold off the other team from coming through that part between the buildings on one end with just a pistol for about 40 seconds before I got hit with a flash and a sticky. It was awesome.

What is your 2nd perk? I'm using Steady Aim with the SPAS and it is usually one shot to kill.

I think my k/d ratio drops when I or my team have a Blackbird in the air. I focus too much on the map and not what is in front of me and end up dying a lot.

I use Steady Aim also. I know its a shotgun but it acts completely random for me. In the same range sometimes I'll get one shot kills and other times its 2 shots or I die because the first shot didn't kill them.

I do the same thing with it. Some guy was lying on the ground near the flad during domination, and from like 5 feet away it still took two shots. How many shohts it takes seems to be really random for me, because I did kill a guy in one shot from about 10 feet away at nuketown later on.

I went nearly 2 week without playing the game. Now Im back an refreshed. Just had a nice little run where I went 67-16 in the span of 5 games.

One of my friends is almost to the 4th prestige already.

Went 76-26 in four games I just played.

The only problem with doing well in this game when playing by yourself is you always get stuck with the ****ty kids. I usually end up quitting out of a lobby after every match.

Edit - and I'm not saying I'm that good, but when I have the 22-5, or 25-10 games and lead the room in points, I always get thrown on the crappy team and end up getting slaughtered the next game because my teammates are more awe-struck than a 12 year old at a playboy party.
