Every game I just played had games that started at 4v4 and usually ended in 4v2. No one would join the games. The matchmaking systems and netcode are a joke in this game. Its a shame, because the core gameplay is awesome.

so I decided to trade this game in today. Not only had I grown frustrated with the netcode that prevented parties from working properly and people from joining games all of those other things, but I just lost all desire to play it. I've got a good group of games right now that I prefer to play more often, then once February hits there's a bunch of games that are coming out that I want. I just didn't see myself playing this that much anymore, so I decided to trade it in.

The patch made the connection issues worse. It takes forever to join a game. And when you finally do, the connection craps out not even 2 minutes into the match.

Same problem for me as I played about 7 games and 6 all had connection interrupted and crapped out. Also like you said it seems to take alot longer to join a game. Frustrating is an understatement when trying to play this game. You better get it together Treyarch. I am on the PS3 version.

Glad I have the 360 version. No problems here. The matchmaking still sucked, and I kept getting thrown into losing games. Wound up having a run of about 9 Domination games in a row that were close and competitive with 4 bars connection.

Finally went back and gave the AUG a shot, but this time with a suppressor. Holy crap, I think I found my go to rifle. It has very limited recoil with the suppressor for some reason, although it still takes more than a few shots to down someone unless you get a headshot. Running that with Ghost netted me some really good games.

I haven't noticed quickscoping, but not a lot of people have been using sniper rifles either.

Started about 10 games, only 3 made it to completion. For several of the games, only half of my party was entering the sessions. Terrible.

Better then me. I got into ONE game tonight and of course "connection lost" 2 minutes into it. The next 10 minutes was me in the lobby trying to find a match. I finally gave up.

I wish the gameplay wasn't so good so I could just say **** it and trade it in. This game is a lot of fun but these connection issues are sad.

Sad? It's frustrating...I'm presuming that a majority of issues (hit detection, knife lunge, etc.) would be fixed with if these connection issues were resolved.

MW2 didn't have nearly the issues that BO is having...

The official Black Ops forums are going nuts right now. This problem is very wide-spread on the PS3, so hopefully we get a fix to this quickly.

I can deal with quick-scoping, knife lunges, spawn kills, but to not be able to even get in a game or if by a miracle I find a game it ends in mid-game is unbelievable.

Finally got 2 full games in, of course they weren't back to back but it is a start. I think one problem is people backing out if the game doesn't start immediately or things don't happen as fast as they think it should, I will say these only account for 5% of the connection problems though. The knife has been nerfed I believe cause my knife animation was stopped when I was shot, this happened a few times and I was having a great lag free connection at the time. Can't even bring two person party into a game. I totally agree with Buckeyes_Doc if this game had crappy game play it would be easy to get rid of but when it's working the overall game play is sweet.
