So, I think they should have left Hardline Pro the same, just taken the 2-4 highest killstreaks out altogether. It kind of defeats the purpose and sense of fulfilment when I go around with my SPAS-12 and rake in 11 kills to call in dogs and somebody else just calls in a care package and is able to get a chopper gunner or call in their own dogs.

Not for me man, I still feel great as this is the only time in my COD history I've ever ran with Killstreaks that were more than 8-9 kills. I've gotten the gunship a couple times by earning it with both my Commando and SPAS (almost with my MPL as well). It felt great to not just to have to rely on chance.

I disagree. Hardline Pro should have been changed only that it was a 50% probability of either a different killstreak than what was dropped or ammo. Whether I use the perk on a Sam Turrett/Care Package/Sentry Gun crate shouldn't change as that's what made it fun.

To one of the other poster's points, it will almost make the Spy Plane useless with more and more people running with Ghost now that Hardline Pro has been stripped so much.

Late last night Treyarch released a hotfix (similar to a tuner update on EA sports) to improve online issues for the PS3. It automatically downloads when you sign on, but it doesn't show you like a patch would. I am seeing improvement but things are still overall poor online.

To one of the other poster's points, it will almost make the Spy Plane useless with more and more people running with Ghost now that Hardline Pro has been stripped so much.

Hardline is still perfectly viable without the cheap exploit of the pro perk. I've been using it since day -4 and I've never even tried to get the pro version cuz I hate care packages.

The problems are not just to do with Multiplayer either. Playing Zombies last night and me and my friends just kept getting disconnected. So annoying when you get to the higher rounds too...

Hit detection seems better on PS3, but it also seems other players kinda slow down so the hit detection is more accurate.

The hit detection is better, I agree. Too bad it is still a challenge to get into a game, but once you do, it is a lot better. Also, the knife lunge is not as bad, it helps with gun battles, I killed many people who went to go knife me but couldnt reach.

I like having my killstreak available right away. I rarely get anything good with care packages and with the way re spawning works.. someones is usually really close by when you throw the marker for the package.

Speaking of killstreaks, I wish there was a way you could save and use your killstreaks in combination (ie: use your radar and then use your B52 or napalm or cobra).

So far the game is much more playable after the patch and doing the work around. Last night I got the dogs in three straight games. The connection is still a little messy but much better.

Yeah, me and some randoms were killing this other team in domination, they were trying to just run around and knife, taught them a lesson. I had 8 captures and 12 defends in that game alone. It was a lot of fun.

Things are improving today. Still some connection issues, but able to finish most games and haven't noticed any lag.
