I went 26-0 last night. I've never gone a whole match in any CoD game without any deaths (at least not one which I started from the beginning). Loving all the Christmas newbies, because I didn't even feel like I played that great in the match. lol.

I play HC right after prestiging because it evens out the fact that I find the first guns to be terrible. The M16 is a beast on HC though, I still use it from time to time, and I've unlocked better AR since then (AK, Commando, Galil).

Whew had a great night playing with jvalverde an some of my boys. Currently my kdr is at 2.22 an my two best guns are commando 113/51(2.22) an Famas 1073/532 (2.02) the one gun I'm disappointed in is the ak74u 288/253 (1.14) I thought I was a beast with that gun lol, I guess not. We had some great games on domination an with our whole team together we didn't lose a single match tonight. When it was just me a jvalverde we couldn't do domination anymore. The guys on our team were complete losers an wouldn't go for the flag. Fun stat so far is in team deathmatch my kdr is 4.33. This game is so much fun for me when I play with other people I know. When I don't its headache inducing.

It also negates one of the biggest skills in the game that nobody ever seems to mention. Knowing when NOT to shoot. If you don't have enough of a corridor to get the kill then don't fire your gun. In HC it doesn't really matter cuz you can still get the kill in even the narrowest of corridors.

And if you are using a whole clip to kill people in last stand you are doing it wrong. All you have to do is stop shooting for half a second and then fire one more bullet
Exactly right. i don't shoot unless I know I can get the kill. I will follow the guy around until I know I can get enough bullets in to kill him. To many times someones shoots at me an I turn the corner, then I turn around an kill them. That's their fault for shooting early.

That can work to that person's advantage still if they are smart. If I do that, I rarely keep following the person. Most of the time they'll turn around and try to find you. At that point I pop back from around the corner and spray them with bullets. Most people don't do that though.

Yep, i've employed that strategy as well. Works well with the trailer on firing range. When I see someone about to run inside, if I fire at them and don't get the kill, i'll run around to the other side of the trailer and occasionally catch them by surprise hiding in the corner and waiting for me to follow them in.

Usually though, if I get a couple shots at a guy and don't kill him, i'm not gonna follow into a building. I'll chuck a frag in and try to get lucky, but I usually turn my attention elsewhere.

Which is interesting because everyone seems to have there own favorite gun. There isn't one or two guns that everyone thinks is better than the rest, which is a good thing. They really got the assault rifle balance in this game.
it's all personal preference. I hated the Famas my 1st time through. 2nd time through and I have 1200 kills with it. Really there is no gun that is better than the others. If there was then everyone would use it.

I am absolutely terrible at this game. I don't know what it is. I've just never been good at CoD games.

Use Combat Training. I can't stress it enough. I SUCKED when I first got the game, much like I did at MW2. I went into combat training and put the computer level on the easiest it could be. It gave me a chance to get used to each map, and with the computer being terrible, I got good practice with aiming. They are nowhere as good as human players, but it gives valuable practice with aiming which you can't get when playing with others online.

After I took the time to play combat training for like 2 days, I noticed I was much more aware of the maps and my aiming was lightyears better, along with how quick I was able to line up shots. Plus, you can test out various guns and setups this way. You'll level up in combat training crazy fast with it on the easiest difficulty, so you can test out each gun before you unlock it in the real online play.

Anyways, I just picked up the Turtle Beach X11 headset at Walmart for 60 bones. Can't wait to try it out!

                      Know what's fun ?

Following a guy as he enters a building, placing a claymore outside the door, then firing shots at the wall so you appear on his radar and he comes running out to get blown up. Ahhh.. good times.

Yes but it takes longer to put people down when suppressed. The famas unsupressed is a lot better for example. I can use the gallil suppressed...the AK, AK74u are fine for me. I thought I'd get a hit a lot more with no suppressor, but some maps that setup is perfect. Just why i roll with different ones for different maps. I seems to work better for me.

I never play without my surpresser, You don't have to worry about it being weaker if your aim is good. Just aim high an get a lot of headshots.

It was taking maybe 20 seconds longer than usual but nothing major. My connections in the games were another story. I spent most of the night with a yellow two bar connection.

Been alright so far today though.
