It also negates one of the biggest skills in the game that nobody ever seems to mention. Knowing when NOT to shoot. If you don't have enough of a corridor to get the kill then don't fire your gun. In HC it doesn't really matter cuz you can still get the kill in even the narrowest of corridors.

And if you are using a whole clip to kill people in last stand you are doing it wrong. All you have to do is stop shooting for half a second and then fire one more bullet
i understand what u say if i was missing but if im hitting people and im getting hit markers and they still not dropping then It's not realistic to me. Show me a person that can take 5 bullets and still run at you. I am skilled with 3 round burst guns which prevents the worst players from praying and spraying and it still won't get the job done. I think people like regular deathmatch a lot because half the people that play it is not skilled and they run around like a chicken with there head cut off.

Think about it u got to put 5 bullets in him to drop him then you hit him twice on the way down to drop into last stand then u got to put another bullet in him to finish him off. After all that if u want to battle with the next enemy u better reload i find many times on regular it gets out of hand. Im not saying all kills are like that but to many of them are.

You can easily take 5 bullets and live as long as they aren't penetrating a vital organ. When playing regular, just imagine your first three shots just went in and out missing bone, muscle, etc.

Still takes 3 shots to the head with guns like the Famas, Aug, Enfield, and G11s.

The AK74u on the other hand only needs 2 shots to the head at close-med distance.

You too? I refuse to ever even try to play with a connection like that again. I already only play a few matches if I have a 3 bar connection. Two was just terrible though.

Anyone have opinions about the campaign on Veteran? I got Black Ops for Christmas and just played a little tonight. It's a lot harder than I thought. You die a lot easier than on any of the other CoD games. I just recently finished MW2 on Veteran and thought that was the easiest CoD on Veteran mode. I guess I got a little spoiled from that. Black Ops is actually rather frustrating. I've always been a pretty good CoD player but I think Black Ops is going to be more of a challenge for me on that difficulty than WaW and MW1, which I thought were tough in their own right.

I had to play the campaign on a lower level to actually enjoy it some. They give you back up and support, yet they are useless. A fellow solider would rather watch someone run up on top of you and kill you, rather then do something about it. It's also kind of an over-kill how they sent a ridiculous number of people at you non stop, from different angles, and force the "one man army" feel on you.

Just my opinion of course, but the multi player is the only reason I even buy these games. The story in the Modern Warfare campaigns are pretty cool, but out side of those.. the campaigns are lacking any "substance".. It's all mindless shooting over and over and over.

Really getting frustrated. What guns are people on OS rolling with?

I use the Galil w/suppressor and RDS, along with Ghost, Warlord Pro, and Hacker.

I'm shooting a 20% clip overall but can't kill anyone. My K/D is 0.95 and I have 650 kills with 150 assists. I get so many assists and can't put them away.

The Galil and the Commando are my two guns of choice. I use either one with a suppressor.

I've never had back to back great games at Nuketown.

Sooo me an jvalverde was tearing it up tonight on multiplayer an I had a match where I went 36-0 on cracked team deathmatch. No camping what so ever. best match i ever played.

                        My set up

                        Commando + suppresser
                        ghost
                        slight of hand pro
                        ninja pro/hacker

This set up is money for me. I went to try an get the pro versions of other perks but I always feel naked without slight of hand pro lol.

Try using slight of hand instead of warlord pro. Being able to reload fast lets you finish a guy off faster. Also once you get the pro version you can zoom in faster so you can get the jump on guys when your aiming.

                            I just had a monster play session. I played from a little before 8 to a little after 2. I went 467-183 for a 2.55 ratio.

I started out playing regular TDM with my friends. When they signed off I started playing Classic TDM to get my 30 shootdowns for Ghost Pro. I met some pretty cool randoms and ended up staying and playing with them well after I had Ghost Pro. One those guys seemed to average about 30 kills game.

I went into combat training and put the computer level on the easiest it could be. It gave me a chance to get used to each map, and with the computer being terrible, I got good practice with aiming. They are nowhere as good as human players, but it gives valuable practice with aiming which you can't get when playing with others online.

After I took the time to play combat training for like 2 days, I noticed I was much more aware of the maps and my aiming was lightyears better, along with how quick I was able to line up shots. Plus, you can test out various guns and setups this way. You'll level up in combat training crazy fast with it on the easiest difficulty, so you can test out each gun before you unlock it in the real online play.

Anyways, I just picked up the Turtle Beach X11 headset at Walmart for 60 bones. Can't wait to try it out!
Man thank you for posting this! I played combat training for a few hours last night and went on to have my best online match ever. I played Free For All and had my first match where I had a K/D ratio of over 1.00. LOL, I know I suck, but that was a real accomplishment for me.

My advice is take off the suppressor and change perk 2 to Slight of Hand. This should get you more kills a and less assists. A con to this is you will now be seen on the enemy radar when firing, but it will help you get kills easier.
