I keep wanting to play this again, but I always stop myself before I put the disk in. I think I need to take a little more time away and keep enjoying my Bad Company. I was getting a little too frustrated and I refuse to play something if I can't enjoy myself.

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops
When I do get a kill, I am so surprised by it that I end up getting caught by some crossfire because I stand there and admire my work. I also have the distinction of regularly being the first guy killed in Team Death Match and the last one killed for the other team to win the game.
But hey, I'm vicious in "Combat Training". I clean up in some CT. I've only had the game for 2 days and got caught up in the CoD buzz playing it at my buddy's house a week ago so I guess my excuse is that I've never played it before this one. Needless to say, I got some practicing to do.Comment

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops
I think you and I are the same player.
I always would play CoD at friend's houses but never bought one. Rented MW2, just pulled the trigger on BlackOps.
And yeah, I've got about a 2 KDR on CT on Normal. Thats what I think is closest to humans.

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops
If you find yourself getting killed a lot, stop running around.
I play demolition a lot...had a guy on the other team that went 1-53 but had 8 plants and 5 defuses. Obviously, he was the runner.
I believe Feared has mentioned it too, but the key is looking for the enemy and noticing spots users like to be at. My K/D now is a 1.63 which I think is pretty good.Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.
It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops
I finally got to play the game, but just one minor problem: it freezes within 10 minutes every single time I try to play. I've re-started my Xbox (which is 4 years old) 4 times and it's done the same thing. Frustrating, but I'm glad I didn't buy it now.Comment

I also ran into a team of noob tubers, which was a nice change of pace. I survived, but sadly, my teammates did not.Comment

I have one of these. M60 with Flak Jacket, Sleight of Hand, and Second Chance. Makes me a one-man wrecking crew in Domination when my team needs to hold down B. I am nearly invincible.

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops
Got my K/D up to a 2.70 and looked at my W/L and realsed it was pretty ****ing terrible.
So, I decided to prestige and work on winning now. Or, well, stop caring about the K/D and see how I can do starting over. Probably terrible.Last edited by Beantown; 01-03-2011, 01:14 PM.Comment

I NEVER have to reload. I feel like I have the death machine at all times lol. It is a really fun class to use and I love taking down enemy after enemy without ever stopping. The only downside is I'm slow and it takes forever to get around the map.Ohio State - Reds - Bengals - Blackhawks - BullsComment

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops
Wanted to thank the few that recommended me switching out Warload Pro (with RDS and suppressor) to Sleight of Hand.
I've been dominating the last few days rolling with just the RDS. Still shooting a 20% clip but my assists are way down and getting way more kills because of it.Comment

Outside of it on the Galil, I really hate the suppressor on any gun.
Plus, SoH helps you aim down sight way faster once you get Pro, which is crucial and is almost like a "connection" boost.Comment
