Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops
I have a rekindled love for this game right now. Playing Free For all with the default MP5K Class. Who ever I kill I pick up their gun and use it till I run out of bullets. So much fun.
Seems people don't like it too much when you take their gun, and kill them with it in the final kill cam. They try to DC, but it still doesn't matter. The video is shown.
Also, learning how to be a better Search and Destroy player makes ranking pretty easy as well.Comment

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops
Went back to World at War, I forgot what it was like to have bullets on target actually count and better spawns.
I'm probably done with Black Ops for a long while. It just isn't fun for me.Comment

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops
Hey guys, I'm looking for a PS3 clan to join. I play by myself and I'm tired of playing Domination and Headquarters with people who either don't go for the objective or can't work together as a team. I admit I'm not the best player, but when I get paired with good teammates, I know how to work as a team. MY PS3 gamer tag is RS17TIMES, so either send me a friend request and message with the clan tag or DM me here.
ThanksComment

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops
Maybe it's just me, but I've found that the game is more or less unplayable on anything other than Hardcore modes. Hardcore is the only time I ever feel like I'm not being cheated all the time since it's essentially 1-shot kills, so I don't get into this situation where I unload 1/2 a clip of an assault rifle into a guy and get killed with 2 hit markers on me. I just feel like Hardcore is less "cheap" in a lot of ways. Also, I like that you don't get to see where you got shot from (more realistic IMO) and there's no radar at all times, so you actually have to, you know, look at the environment and check your corners. Not that I'm looking for a dead-on simulation of urban combat (like I would even know one if I saw one), but anything that keeps me from the utter frustration of the regular modes where I have to empty 2 clips into people before they go down is a positive in my view. Only problem is my favorite mode is Domination, and there doesn't appear to be a hardcore domination mode (unless I just missed it completely)....Comment

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops
Yeah at first I thought taking out Stopping Power was a great idea, I actually prefer having Stopping Power in COD. I think a better counter would be to just put back Juggernaut back in the game, then taking out Stopping Power all together.
Also I think they need to severely lower the damage modifiers to non lethal body parts, I hate when a guy just sprays wildly at my Ankles and gets a Kill. Players should be penalized for bad aim, and Upper Body, Head shots should be the main aiming points. Rather then just get shots any where and pray / spray.Minnesota Vikings

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops
This is my take on all these "problems"
1) Stopping Power/Juggs should be out
2) The Hit Detection is fine
My reasoning is that it's just the game- what they should have done is made the guns as powerful as the old CoD games with SP. I don't like shooting people with one hundred bullets otherwise. The hit detection "problems" are more of just having to shoot more than other games to kill someone. So the more bullets- the more likely that the bullet will be either inaccurate, or lag will cause it to not hit, or both. So it makes the hit detection problems of modern technology more noticeable.Comment

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops
I haven't touched this since a few days after the maps came out (really regret buying those now). After playing Reach the netcode is so awful in this game, I can't play it for very long. Plus, Reach is getting new maps next month, and LA Noire and Brink come out in a few months.Comment

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops
I still really enjoy this game. Guess I'm in the minority here but something keeps me coming back to it, even more than MW2 did and I was in love with that game this time last year.
But I'm still sick of Firing Range. I have no idea why people are so nuts over that map.Currently Playing
