MW2 sucks. Pretty much most of the Call of Duty's have sucked. The killstreaks are beyond stupid. Yet... we all play it because everyone else is playing it. I only play it because my friends play it. Though I can't take it very long...

To the guy saying MW1 was more realistic than MW2... neither one of them is anywhere near realistic. There is absolutely NOTHING realistic about Call of Duty. Nothing. There's nothing really realistic about many games, but there's damn near nothing close to realism to be found in Call of Duty other than the fact that your person walks.

Not hating, but I always wonder what qualifications people have to call something realistic... this is not at all realistic to war... to police... to anything related to bang-bang-pew-pew guns. No offense, maybe your idea of realism is what you see on television, but this couldn't be further from real...

Game got stupid. BFBC is better and more fun IMO. What I would give for the classic GR and R6 games from original Xbox. Those multiplayer games were the best.

I will probably be getting this since Treyarch is making it. As long as Zombies are back, I'm in. I don't care at all for standard online and probably won't play much of campaign.

Although I agree with you, MW2 and this game are not made by the same developer, so I'm not really sure why people compare this game to MW2.

Hope not. Never played WAW and probably never will. I just can't get into the past when It comes to a game like that with all the old guns.

I've been informed by multiple sources familiar with the situation, all of whom chose to remain anonymous, that Activision has tasked Raven Software with making Call of Duty: Black Ops map packs and put one of their games on hold in the process.

There are at least two main development teams at Madison, Wisconsin-based Raven Software. One team is currently finishing work on one of Activision's only new properties in 2010, Singularity. I'm told another team, whose last game was the Wolfenstein reboot from last summer, was in the early development and design phases of a stealth-centric James Bond game. That project is now on hold.

Really odd that Raven of all companies would be put on map pack duty, especially since Treyarch has like 200 employees.

Maybe if Singularity does poorly, Activision would look to shut down yet another studio. Sucks for Raven, as Wolverine and Wolfenstein were underrated and virtually unhyped by Activision.

My guess is that they've see the amount of money they can make with the $15 map packs for MW2 and just want to release map packs as fast as possible for this one.

I might get it because, the story was pretty good in MW2 so I'm thinking this one will be really good to. Not a big fan of the past warfare type games and I might miss out on red dead redemption but, It's by rockstar and they don't disappoint much so I might have to give that a try.

I'll probably have to see gameplay vids and reviews first and If It's not good then I'll just wait until the next modern warfare.

Anybody see the Black Ops commercial? Looked pretty good.

It's not as deep in the past as I thought so I believe I just changed my mind about picking this game up.

Looks like another copy of the past Call of Duty...and seeing as I ended up hating MW2 with a burning passion, this is a rent at the time, but that might change, it all depends on what happens with the perks and such which I am sure will be talked about before it is out.

One positive thing I have seen so far is that Treyarch said in the latest GI about a really unique(to the CoD series) single player experience and talks of actually flying helicopters and such.

Looks good, but what's with the snow fetish? I don't expect this to be better than Medal of Honor, at least MP wise.
