I feel like the gameplay is improved. It is kind of difficult to put my finger on but I feel like there was more to do in ACB, but that AC2 had a bit more depth in terms of the actual story. The quick kill executions kind of feel cheap though, but useful when you fight 20 enemies at once. The game is much more challenging. I beat the game last night but still found myself playing on 3 more hours tonight and I really expected to be bored after beating the game, but not so.

Ubisoft did a great job designing the city of Roma, very impressed.

In terms of look its about the same but because Ubisoft only had to design one place and it was a place such as rome they really nailed it. There's like zero load time and the game seems to really have a flow to it the AC 2 didnt , thought I loved that game. You actually feel more skilled then the guards this game but not to the point that you feel over powered.

It's also funny when you call one of your assassins to take out a seeker who is investigating the haystacks/rose petals/etc.

I think I may have finished Ezio's part of AC:B and (MAJOR SPOILER IF YOU HAD NOT BEATEN THE GAME)
        Spoiler
I did a side mission where I had to kill a guy who was on a horse. I killed him by throwing an axe at him and it did the slow motion thing while he was flying off his horse with an axe stuck in his chest. I couldn't stop laughing.

YES. They actually reward you now for performing missions without being seen and killing only the assassination target.

The missions are always laid out where you can use stealth instead of all guns blazing. My favorite thing to do is whistle for my guild members to show up and assassinate guards for me while I make my way to the target without being seen. So awesome.

Anybody else find the Virtual Trainer: Combat Challenges addicting? Was playing it yesterday and was trying for like 3 hours to beat everyone on my friend's list score lol.

Not too many people on my list have it but I think I beat Jmood's score of like 540 in one of the challenges lol

Wow I was up until 4.30am last night playing this. I'm a massive fan of the series (even the first game) and this is just an incredibly immersive world to play in. I love that being aggressive in combat is now rewarded and chaining together kills is a huge improvement. I have the day off today so I should be able to get in another couple of hours, whilst doing laundry etc.

I grin from ear to ear when i call my peeps to take care of business. Sometimes i just stand back and admire.

                    Great addition for this game.

Can anyone explain the chaining together of kills for the xbox? I'm having a hard time doing it. Do you need to target with the left trigger?

as soon as you have killed someone (or are in the middle of a finishing move) point the left stick toward the next opponent and press X. So long as you are not hit first you will immediately do a finishing move on that guard, and so on.

Finished the game, loved it. Possibly my GOTY or at least top 5. Wasn't thrilled by the ending but I have my own theories about that.

Anyway top notch all the way.

I second that. Now that I have had time to really spend with this game today, I am enjoying it a lot. I have been spending more time running around and rebuilding Rome then trying to do missions. I love this new aspect. I made a complete 180 on this game from my previous thoughts.
