Re: Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
Unlock Raiden Outfit
Don't get us wrong -- we like Ezio and his gentlemanly facial hair plenty, but the opportunity to play as Metal Gear Solid's bionic man, Raiden? That's simply thrilling. And it seems we'll be able to do just that, as an anonymous tipster has sent us images revealing Raiden as a playable skin in this month's Assassin's Creed game, Brotherhood. As with AC's Altair in MGS4, it seems Ubisoft and Konami have again come together to forge a beautiful collaboration for fans of both series.
Beyond the images, our tipster claims that the Raiden "outfit" is unlocked upon completing all tasks in the Animus' new "virtual training" mode, leaving us with hope that we could complete the training first and play through Brotherhood as Raiden from the get-go -- and, just maybe, fool ourselves into thinking we're actually playing Rising.

Re: Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
No thanks. I like the game for the immersion factor of playing in a different period of time and that would basically ruin it for me. Im sure others out there will love it though.Comment

Re: Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
I love this franchise, I just feel like its too soon that they released this 1 year after the second game regardless that there is now multi-player modes. I am going to try and wait on this, but I am weak when it comes to AC.Comment

Re: Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
Well I was 100% sure I was getting this but now Im not sure. I dont play multiplayer at all, and I can see this version of it getting old in a hurry, so Im basically paying for a single player experience only and Im not sure its worth full price at the moment. Anyone heard anything specific to single players length yet?Comment

Re: Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
My concern is the 1 year cycle on this game and with the added MP will the SP get shafted and add to the fact MAYBE an average MP??? Guess we will see soon enoughThe poster formerly know as "FLIGHTWHITE"Comment

Re: Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
That is my concern + did this damn game really need MP? The SP alone was engaging and I put 25+ hours in the second game which I ended up getting the platinum. I have to see if there are MP trophies too, which I hope there isn't. I hate 1 year development cycles.Comment

Re: Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
Earlier this week T3 delivered its verdict on Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, giving it a 5/5 score and calling it "The best Creed yet."
The fine folks at PSM3 have also spent some quality time with Ezio Auditore da Firenze on his second outing and come away quite impressed.
The review opens by saying that while it doesn't innovate in the same way that AC2 did "it improves on every aspect of the Assassin's Creed formula" and is a "broadening of the series".
Although players take control of Ezio once again, the review says that the city of Rome is the real star of the game. "It's a glorious, rich city with a staggering amount of side-missions, secrets and hidden stuff to sniff out".
The game's new multiplayer mode is described as "an inventive and entertaining addition". Overall, Brotherhood is a game "designed to treat fans" and "entice newcomers".
5/5 and a 92% in PSM3. I already pre-ordered and have this payed off, but this reinforces my decision.Comment

Re: Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
1 year cycle isn't surprising though. 500 people working on it like ACII, except they had a stable engine and a lot of assets that can be reused/slightly altered.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

These commercials are looking good, can't wait to see the rest of Ezio's story.Comment
