The Bottom Line

The game that comes to mind while playing Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, is Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. Not since Rockstar's potent crime drama has a game so massive, so polished, so impressively improved from its predecessor been released just a year after the prior installment

Ok so far so good. Graphics are outstanding. Beggar women are back.....in groups this time. Opening scene was kind of average.......Just enough to get your bearings back, you know the whole running, jumping, climbing and swinging from rafters type of thing.

The 1st huge battle was IMPRESSIVE. I must say if you have some gaming headphones or home theatre system, the amount of people you hear talking all around you is kind of overwhelming at 1st.

Haven't tried the online yet. But so far so good. City is about as populated as they were in AC2. The stuff they be saying is comical and sometimes you can find yourself being side tracked listening to them LOL. Had me thinking good lord were people that damn poor in Rome back then ???

And yes you still got dudes standing on their soapboxes LOL. They crack me up.

Honestly... the first Desmond sequence reminded me a ton of Uncharted 2 (sans weapons).

I'm not very far, but so far so good. Will have more time to play tomorrow when there's no game.

So I've been playing online for the last two hours. Where you at?

But to be totally cereal here folks, the online modes are good times so far. I think I like the Team Hunt mode so far the best, but the two-on-two-on-two is growing on me as well. Didn't really like the Manhunt mode (8 people going solo), and I still need to unlock one of the modes I believe.

i just got this game i traded in madden 11 for it ( never traded a football game that early got 28.75)

i was a HUGE AC2 fan it was amazing imo.

cant wait to go play it on the xbox

OMG the guards in these game are hard as HELL. Even the little petty ones. So forewarning to all, you better upgrade you crap before you pick a fight. They are tough and they swarm your butt fast.

I do love it though when you fighting in the streets the crowd cheers. You hear a lot of OOOOOOOOOOOOO and AWEEEEEEEEEEEEE. I was kind of blown away by that. The climbiing and jumping obstacles a la Tomb Raider crap is annoying though, especially since they don't freaking tell you what to do, even in Eagle vision mode.

You can be in some old cave see a locked gate and then you got to figure out how the hell to get around. And this time around it be a LONG way around just to go 5 feet forward. It is like why do I got to climb 10 things, do back flips off of 3 things, swing on 6 poles going all away the damn room just to get over a 8 feet high gate ? LOL

Game is challenging I will say that. Mainly because the guards got a MAJOR upgrade, all of them. They dodge and counter a whole lot more this year. And they like to grab you a lot too trying to hold you while they buddies take an axe to your butt.

Oh they made pick pocketing super EASY. All in all though I give it a solid 9 out of 10 so far from what I seen.

i love the story, but i hate the stupid annoying mini load times hopefully it wont be as bad later on.

will play more tomorow cant wait to see what happens next

Yeah it's 4 on 4. All the modes are stealth if you want them to be, but you generally have to use both stealth and action obviously.
