Very close to calling this games spawn system the worst in any shooter I have ever played.

Going K/D at 14/16 with 6 of those deaths coming from spawning, running two feet and getting gunned down.

Infuriating.

This is in the 20 on 20 death match mode.

Atrocious spawn system 33% of the time you spawn.

It got hilarious too, when you run by someone on your team who just spawned near you and see them turn 360 with blasters firing you know they have experienced the goofy spawn system.


Easy fix is a squad spawn system which is what a previous post I made was about.

Just give us 4 players we can spawn off of. I mean heck, I just want to help whatever team I am on. Took me like 5 minutes last match to figure out the person the game partnered me with had no clue where they should go. It was on a map I had no clue where to go either. Blind leading the blind.

Conversely, I got paired one match with the guy who finished 3rd with 24/18. Just spawning with him I racked up my so far best score of 19/25.

I think these spawn point issues are getting everyone because post match just about 95% of players from both teams have more deaths than kills

I've been waiting all day to play and now PSN is down.

This game just needs a lot more maps but it's very close to being the best online game I've played in a long time.

Picked this up earlier. Only had time to get one game in and had a blast. Had a pretty good game and got to level 3. I like that it's a MP game that doesn't need to be taken so seriously. I'll definitely adding this to the FO4/BLOPS3 rotation.

The team play in this game is so awful. When you mix that with the fact that the game spawns you as far as it possibly can from a captured objective, you just have no chance sometimes. More often than not I have one chance to capture something and if it doesn't happen the first time, there's a very good chance that I won't have enough time to get back again. Better hope that your team can figure out how to organize one good attack (maybe by looking at each other or doing some other emote?) or you could be screwed.

Finally got it , sorry for the wait . I'm on ps4 if anyone wants to play psn- swangkang169. Played a few games leveled up to 4. Besides the spawn system I'm liking it .

Haven't opened my free copy for X1 yet (Not really into online much) but just watching videos really makes me want some new Rogue Squadron games etc.. with today's consoles.

Got it, ran through the tutorials and then played up to level 4. Getting my usual kdr but it's a hoot. Sure plays smooth and looks great.

It is more willy-nilly than BF4 but then it's a Battlefront game, not a Battlefield game. Still, coordinated teams could do work.

Haven't opened my free copy for X1 yet (Not really into online much) but just watching videos really makes me want some new Rogue Squadron games etc.. with today's consoles.

That's all I care about - the flying. So much fun. My son loves heroes vs villains but I can take to the air for dogfights all day.

I was so bad early on. First three games not a single kill and even then killing humans is tough too. I'm still not great but I had 8 or 9 ai kills in one game and I've gotten some humans more now too. I feel skill is important here. Knowing how to shake off guys, track guys, use your torpedo all matters a lot. I still have yet to pick up Boba Fetts ship or the Falcon. Have to fly low for those. I actually prefer the dark side so I can yell "die rebel scum" when I take someone down lol.

I haven't flown Slave 1, but the Falcon is insane fun.

PSA - stop sprinting! You reveal yourself on the mini map when you sprint or shoot.

At the same time, maybe don't stop sprinting...

A simple tactic is just to trail the idiots who are sprinting by about 50-60 meters.

Then like bears to honey you see the other team come towards the sprinters and by hanging back you shoot the players coming in for the sprint reveal kill.

If I see people sprinting around me I just stop and lay low and let them move on.

Perhaps this should have been named Star Wars Rush N' Attack.


And yes, when you spawn 900 meters from battle you do have to sprint to get back, but when you get near stop sprinting to go invisible on the mini map.

So in some of the big team modes what dictates if you can partner spawn or not? Sometimes it's there and other times it not there for the whole match.

Still having a blast with this game so far. I'm pleasantly surprised by the various game modes. Supremacy reminds me of a game mode that was in the Call of Duty: World at War (I think it was called War in that game?) That was my favorite mode, so I've been playing a lot of Supremacy as I get more comfortable. At the same time though, Heroes vs. Villains is great for a quicker experience/gives me the ability to learn how to use each of the heroes and villains better.

And I tried the Fighter Squadron mode last night and it was great; should really help for those times in other modes where I get into an X-Wing or Tie Fighter and have no idea what I'm doing.

I've had some really good rounds and some really bad ones; I think my K/D is hovering around 0.9 or 1.0 right now, but I'm having a blast

Anyone else having an issue with their earned credits disappearing without having spent them? I notice last night this happened and this morning I had gone down to zero credits after having 2-3 thousand saved. Just completed a game and my credits were cut in half. Not sure why this is happening.
