All they need is 3rd person view and bring back galactic conquest and DICE can do whatever they want and I'll still be very happy.

I think they're over-estimating how many people would be mad if they turned BF4 into Star Wars: Battlefield, with a few tweaks to make it feel more like a "Star Wars" game and not a modern game.

BF4 looks incredible. BF4 would look even more incredible if I could bring down an Imperial Star Ship to change the map instead of bringing a massive boat on shore.

IMO the only thing they would really need to do to make 90% of the people happy is to keep the series 3rd person.

I mean when I first played Battlefront 1 I thought, "Hey this is just like Battlefield but with a star wars set up"

Looks like first and third person will be in. Probably the best thing they could do. The third person and a Galactic Conquest mode are all people really desperately want to see. The rest is just extra.

Star Wars: Battlefront is being developed by DICE, the development team responsible for the Battlefield series. It has been confirmed that the game will feature options supporting both first and third person camera preferences. In order to try to capture the feel of the franchise, DICE has been given access to the code from past LucasArts developed Battlefront games, including entries of the series that were previously unreleased.

And not to mention other things like just knocking down trees and what not on Endor, avoiding At-ats as they crash down on Hoth, possibly explode and send snow and fire into the sky. Just imagine during space battles if you take down one of the bigger ships and you've got debris flying all over the places during the explosion. Would be lovely to look at a lot of this stuff in action. Dammit, I really hope they don't screw this up.

Besides on Hoth and Yavin 4, I kicked my cousin and bestfriend's *** at Battlefront 2 going 1 on 2. Need more of that in my life lol.

I'm probably in the minority, but I hope they have the bots in this game so I can just do the Conquest mode on my own against the CPU lol.

I'm just really bad at shooting games and I don't want to get my *** kicked online lol

It's imperative they have bots, just to fill out the maps. Online games should be able to be have bots in too, selected by the person who hosts or starts the game.

I really think they could get a lot of good stuff from MAG which I still enjoy and think presents a good online multiplayer shooter experience.

I'd hate to move from large scale battles with a hundred fighters (64 humans, 36 bots) to a 64 person skirmish.

Having squad only or free for all only shoot outs would be boron after a whole, implementing small squads of 3 users and 2 bots to divvy up the experience would be awesome.

They absolutely need bots. Trying to get 64 people for a Galactic Conquest game would be impossible.

Every time I watch footage I get this sinking feeling it will end up being a FTP-based game.

Are you implying that those videos of them playing BF are from BF3 by Dice? Those are simply videos of them playing BF2 while talking about BF3 -

I didn't think any gameplay had been released for BF3. I think those videos are just hypothetical situations being talked about - not the game itself.
