yeah i had a bit of a nerdgasm when i saw the teaser. Not a huge star wars guy but the first 2 games were awesome, cant wait to play a next gen version.

I really hope they keep Conquest mode and the playlists (where you could choose a bunch of maps and choose from different modes like capture the flag etc).. I would spend hours doing that.
I hope it isn't just battlefield with SW skins. While it would be a very good game, it just wouldnt be battlefront.

I don't really see them having much of a story mode unless they have some new ideas, so conquest mode would probably still be there as they'd have to have something offline. I'd be pumped even if they just straight up said it's Battlefield but with Star Wars stuff.

Yeah I am pretty sure it be basically BF4 engine with Star Wars units, etc.

I do see this being a FPS and not a 3rd person game since its being developed by DICE.

I do wonder though, could they just make it a expansion for BF4 called Battlefront? I doubt it because they would get 60 bucks easily for a standalone but its interesting to think about nonetheless.

I doubt every single thing you just said. If DICE is making 2 shooters, I'm guessing they are smart enough to do more than slap Star Wars stuff on BF4 and call it a day. Gotta be different so they don't step on their own toes.

I mean what else will they do. I do feel that its going to be a stand alone game however.

I mean Battlefront key features was Conquest and Battlefield will have Conquest. Only difference I can see is adding in the Heroes/Villians some how and maybe a new mode but the Graphics/Physics engine I guarantee will be the same as BF4.

This also isn't the main DICE studio. This is DICE LA (Danger Close) who did the last 2 Medal of Honor games.

I doubt it will be, but I certainly hope so, as I don't want to go next gen for at least 2 more years.

The fact its with Frostbite 3 is super exciting.

I am foaming at the mouth at the prospect of blowing up the death star in real time during 64 player online gaming...

I am beyond excited at seamless transitions from space to earth battles...

I am super stoked for an immerisve graphic system that should allow for snow to get kicked up in an explosion or sand to be whipped up and obscure your vision as you trawl over a dune to take a position...

I'm excited for the potential of caving in an underground base and bringing a surface battle underground.

I'm excited for the potential to see the Star Wars staple that is severed limbs...

All of this is actually possible on this new gen and with the new engine.

Seeing that Battlefield 4 gameplay where they blow up the skyscraper and the players jumping out of the window and parachuting has done more for my excitement for Battlefront than anything else could.

Who's with me or am I just too excited?
