If this is true...only 3-4 games are going to get rotation on my 360. SWBF3, NBA 2k12, Pes 2012 or Fifa 12(depending on the quality of the demo), and UMvC3 (Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3)

Just makes me sad seeing that footage. The game should've been done years ago and would've been awesome with Free Radical doing it.

I love the Battlefront games and don't understand what is taking so long for another game to come out. The games were among the most popular at the time. I would much rather see a new battlefront game over the other star wars games that were produced.

Any chance someone picks it up? The game sold well, so when the news that LucasArts was being cut broke, I thought it would actually be a good thing for the series.

I would say their is a chance Ben. Since Disney owns the rights now and do not have internal studios they could lease the rights out to anyone. Someone mentioned it would be great if Dice as to pick it up and make it like their Battlefield games.

That would be so much win. Imagine Battlefields engine with destructible environment, AT Walkers instead of tanks, Tie Fighters and X Wings battling in the air. Awesome.

With disney in control of the franchise you would think now we'll see a game at some point. If there is any game begging to get made it's this one. Plus with future movies to come they would probably would want to time a release for around then. Here's hoping.

I would say that there is no chance of the new star wars movie releasing with out a game to go with it. Whether that game is a battlefront type game or revenge of the sith type game remains to be seen.

The studio actually had the XBL/PSN game finished when Disney took over, but Disney kept them from releasing it. I wouldn't put any hope in anybody picking up either game.
