I don't know, Island Thunder isn't that much different than sequels in many sports game franchises. Not much changes from year to year -- different rosters, different maps, maybe a graphical touch-up. No difference.
But at least UbiSoft has the balls to call it an expansion pack instead of an all-new game and only charges $39.99 U.S. for it.
Take care,

I'm not saying I won't get it now b/c it is an Expansion Pack. Hell I buy expansion packs all the time...I'm not buying it now b/c I have to pay for my college expenses. Also, TCG and I live in Canada and it's expensive to be a gamer up here. It's easy for anyone to say it's only $39.99 US, but add $20 to that not to mention 15% tax if you live in Ontario and it can get pretty bad. I dunno if ubisoft had "balls" to call it an expansion pack. From day one they said they wanted to expand the online play since it's so popular on XBL. So in that respect it is an expansion pack. Just like Road to Rome and the new Warcraft 3 expansion. I can see your point in the sports game debate, but that's the way the cookie crumbles I guess. What can I say?
