Yeah, I need to pop Guerilla back in, the physics and destroying the environment was so much fun.

To me that was the entire key to Red Faction. When I read they were changing that somewhat (along with the less than stellar reviews) I just passed on the game (like a lot of people did I think).

BKfount is right. They really made a bad choice going to a 3rd person shooter when you already had one of the greatest physics destruction models gaming has ever seen. Don't worry about SR3 though. That game will sell at last a million on name alone. I expect it to sell 3 or 4 million.

I don't think people were too excited to run around an underground mining facility.
All I wanted was the Saints Row thing and pulled that out of a rental copy at the local store. Code was good for the PC version too.

Half the time blowing stuff up ends up hindering you in Armagedon like blowing up walkways or stairs and then having to rebuild them to cross. Plus this game is a linear 3PS where you have to kill bugs in caves. Guerilla had an open world where most of the objectives were tied to blowing up buildings and structures.
