Yah... GoW III wore the crown prior to this releasing, but some of these fatalities... nastiness, lol.

LoL I was about 6 when the first MK came out

You guys just reminded me how taboo the game was back in the day

Good thing the ratings didn't really matter back then and I was able to get the game

There is no either, just get the game and put the kids to bed a 6p every night and enjoy this game in all it's gory.

Played as Kratos earlier, perfect! They didn't great job at capturing the magic he had from GOW3 and the throw and even fatalities. Sweet *** game!

Just as I was settled on getting the PS3 version, I just founded out that my local gamestop has a used one for the 360 for $47

Me too. Wow. I was in high school. We used to line up quarters on the monitor for who had next. No clue how we always remembered which quarter belonged to who but we did. We would play MK from right after school till 7 or 8 every night it seemed.

The good ol days.

Yeah, I was in HS too. I remember going to the mall and hitting the arcade one day, and there were so many people standing around one machine. It was MKII. Then I saw it and couldn't take my eyes off of it. This game really recaptures that feeling well.

I had the original Mortal Kombat for PC when I was but 5; that, Doom, and Wolfenstein 3D are the first mainstream computer games I recall playing. It was one of those games where you had to input words from the manual at the start of the game to prove you bought it, otherwise it'd force quit; that manual became sacred for a while, haha.

Later, still way-too-young to play the MK games, I would often go to the movie theater for the sole purpose of dominating the UMK3 arcade machine against people twice my age. Fun times.

Same here man. He is a defensive fighter and they reallllly slowed him down. Unfortunately, after using him and only him in every MK, I now role with the Green blooded linnaean & Smoke
