No x-rays at all. They're nice for a bit, but after a while they not only get repetitive, but they just take too long to execute and they're essentially for noobs who cannot pull of big combos (which includes myself, and probably most people).

I can see your point but I disagree, I think when and how you use your super meter brings an immense amount if strategy to the game. If you save up to use X-ray on an experienced player it may not even pay off if they simply block it. I do agree maybe the X-ray should be just a bit less damage but overall the way that and the meter is handled is just perfect IMO...

Finally beat story mode, took me literally 20 or 30 tries to beat the last fight, and this was after trying a bunch of times a few days ago and giving up. Tip to those who haven't beaten it yet. Just suck it up and keep trying once you get to the final fight. Had to watch like a 5 minute cut scene I had already seen when I started up story mode to try again the second time.

I agree....the x-rays do get repetitive but when you land them they can turn a fight around quick!

They are almost mandatory when your going up against a higher skilled player and your getting pwned......LOL

Didn't think about that. You make a good point about utilizing the super meter. But maybe instead of an X-ray, it could be some super move that is much quicker to pull off and takes away slightly less damage.

I think the main problem with the x-rays is every character only has one. It would be nice if they had two or three to help keep it a little fresh rather than having to see the same thing every fight.

Once their meter is full prepare yourself and try to avoid it when they use it.

If I'm facing an opponent that has a full meter I try to stay off the ground as much as possible and block the entire time I have to be on the ground.

I like waiting for them to waste their attempt at it then land one of my own

Now that my internet is fixed...lets fight. Online is greatness. Had a few 6 game winning streaks going in koth. Man it takes me back to my arcade days. Raiden = My go-to-guy.

I was about 50% playin random selection but once I went back to Raiden I was back to my old days.

Some players main 1 character and really master them fully.

I consider myself an average skilled player but I got in a 1on1 with some guy using Reptile tonight and I swear I was lucky to get his life meter down 1/8 of the way in any of the rounds we fought.

Everything I tried he had a counter for and it was like every move I made was just falling into a trap he had set up. His skill level was light years ahead of mine and it really was amazing watching him destroy me ... After about 3 or 4 matches I just gave up because it was so pointless trying.

I seriously need to practice more combos I guess.....lol

Don't feel bad, Reptile is one of the easiest players to do juggle combos with. I'm working on mastering him along with SubZero.

I met up with a guy that had a lui kang juggle that was ridiculous. I couldn't do anything, he kept me pinned in the corner with a kick combo he kept doing over and over.

While I know it's frustrating for many to go up against these guys I know that Mortal Kombat has been this way since the first arcade game. You gotta et em figured out then take the woopin to em.
